I'm sure his machines already accept UE power, so that makes sense.
It also weighs like 6x as much (well, IRL it does. Its also not as hard as diamond, but whatever). Titanium would be a much more sensible material for making armour...
10 full armour pointsWell osmium is harder than diamond so i'd asume it's better
How much % armour is a full set?
nah, I see that as kind of power armour... servo's to help with movement etc.so weight of iridium in quantum armor doesnt bother anyone? it has almost same density as osmium. you can also remember gold...
"Correspondingly, its bulk modulus is extremely high, reported between 395 and 462 GPa, which rivals that of diamond(443 GPa)."It also weighs like 6x as much (well, IRL it does. Its also not as hard as diamond, but whatever). Titanium would be a much more sensible material for making armour...
Osmium armour is better than diamond
the only osmium I know of is from UE. maybe Greg is adding UE compatibility?
I thought dia was 9.5 in the modpacks.. ah well. It's probably the same dam reduction but lesser durability."Correspondingly, its bulk modulus is extremely high, reported between 395 and 462 GPa, which rivals that of diamond(443 GPa)."
From Wikipedia
Apparently we're all right.
Except Lambert, because diamond armour has 10 points too
Although it's possible that Osmium has secret hidden extra armour points like Quantum Armour/Gravisuite or MPS, but they both use (as far as I know) different ways to block damage than the "vanilla" armour points (which are redundant anyway because of enchantments)
Oh, I haven't tried it in the modpacks.I thought dia was 9.5 in the modpacks.. ah well. It's probably the same dam reduction but lesser durability.

Boron nitride is hard, but you can go 1 better. The ridiculously named Lonsdaleite is 58% harder than diamond. Boron nitride is only 18% hard than diamond.i still want wurtzite boron nitride armour
I'm wearing a Lonsdale T-Shirt. I'm well 'ard!Boron nitride is hard, but you can go 1 better. The ridiculously named Lonsdaleite is 58% harder than diamond. Boron nitride is only 18% hard than diamond.
