I seriously want seafaring testificates.

There could be multiple types (Like, for example non-pirate seafarers) and multiple types of ships. I feel like Mojang would probably just add three types of ships. There could be merchant ships, navy, and pirate ships. I will refer to all seafarers as pirates as it's unlikely Mojang would make any distinction.

They would likely be some sort of randomized texture, with hooks for hands, peg-legs, eye-patches and such occurring, but with a random chance for each one, kind of like horses. Or something.

Spawning around these ships would be Parrots and very rarely, monkeys. These would both be tameable, with the parrot mocking the testificates, until you tame them, in which they could learn up to six words. You would access some GUI and type up whatever word. Giving the parrots seeds would make them very happy. The monkeys could potentially be used for autocrafting, but it really matters very little.

The pirates could also trade with you, or attack you. Depending. They would also have little swords to murder zombies and such.

Idk, doubt it will be implemented and it's kinda a bad idea. >.>

I think Millenaire already does that, with the pirates. Least, I know it did in Technic back in...I wanna say 1.2.5.

I believe that it was Better Dungeons which had pirate ships in ocean biomes.
The pirates were just Steves with armor and really powerful swords.

You can't forget about dungeon pack, it adds 3 different dungeons in oceans. It has the "Huge Ship" which is apparently buggy and disabled by default. I have yet to find one. Stuuupiiid said this about it
Boss #4: Huge Ship (Beta. If you want to explore it, you have to enable it in the config first! But care! Really buggy)
From the forum post it seems WAY bigger than Better Dungeons' main ship. I'm not sure what spawns on it, but if it's anything like the one in Better Dungeons there will be tons of mobs spawned in the basement (Creepers too, which can ignite that TNT. I've had experiences, man). Theres a normal ship in Dungeon Pack that adds three chests, usually with just some food, and a zombie spawner. And then there is the First Aid Ship which just has bread and a jack o lantern. These ships are great for getting wool to do Thaumcraft research and make backpacks. The Better Dungeons main pirate ship also has a boss, who is surprisingly easy to beat.

It seems like they're also adding sunfloweres (What a happy move) and falling particles. Thoughts?

Idk what you mean by falling particles, but the whole biome thing and sunflowers is a really good edition. Jeb adds some good editions. But I have to wonder what Dinnerbone is cooking up. IMO Dinnerbone added some of the best stuff.

I hope they make it so swamp trees give green wood. And name them a cool name

I don't like the new biomes. I think sunflowers are a good Idea, but they look(acording to a image I cannot post now) bad. Falling particles are simple dirt/sand/etc particles you see when you fall more then 10 blocks. It WAS made by dinnerbone.

That'd be cool

I like the redwood biome, looks menacing, reminds me of another biome in BOP I can't remember the name of. Just wish you could pick up dirt without things.

Sunflowers look good-ish. I hope they are more than just "flowers" though.

And I like the disco biomes but it's so much clay that I can forsee it getting stripped down to nothing.

I hope they add more than just that though.
