So on Youtube there are people that after like 15-20 episodes have like 1 or 2 HV solar arrays
thats in only 15-20 days because they upload 1 episode day!
I'm been playing for 3 weeks now and i don't have any MV solar array!
Why they are so fast?

Why they are so fast?

because they record their episodes ahead of time and string them out, that and that they probably to stuff in-between the episodes without you knowing. Editing tricks.

the videos are 30-35 mins long but on every new episode there are a lot of new things that i can't do in only 1 day
they probably, as said by blackfire, do other things between one episode and another but they said things like
"I've done this yesterday" or "I spent 2-3 hours doing this"

ya I'm sure they spent 2 to 3 hours setting it up and another 6 to 8 just mining like a bat out of hell.

The more familiar you are with mods, the faster your progression can be.

Well if you're using GT, it'll depend on how quickly you can get the matter fab and get the materials for 8 MV solar cells (I think it's something like 8 iridium ores and one sunnarium plate, 7 UU per iridium, 6 for the sunnarium... Not to mention the uranium.)

I myself am in no rush. I am having fun playing my own way. Try to find your own way to play, it might be more enjoyable than following the Youtubers. Most of them aren't technical enough for me, so that's my issue.

Nuclear power may look daunting, but it seriously isn't that difficult. Just stick to 0 chamber mark 1's (Meaning no extra reactor chambers and no excess heating, so it's safe as long as it's set up correctly.)

Even 6 chamber mark I's are risk free. If you use thermal control (or whatever its called) you can stop the redstone signal as soon as the hull temp goes about 0 degrees. i.e. There is no chance for the reactor to explode.

Just takes a little bit of learning. So difficult, I know.

I should have clarified. I specified 0 chambers just because he was new to it. All mark 1's are safe. However if your temp does go up at all, it's not a mark 1.

Even aside from that, most of FTB is about time. If you put more time/resources into building a bigger system, your returns will be as such. Also due to the nature of voltage and the concept of "per tick" means that everything is restricted to time.

Even I cannot fathom being able to create the amount that they have, in the time their episodes portray. Even Etho says "I did this off camera because it'd be really stupid for me to include me digging and strip mining in my videos". Nobody would watch that. I can go strip mine and get rather bored of even watching myself do it.

Don't worry about what other people are doing. Go at your own pace. You will see people building projects that are out of reach for you, either for the time being or simply because it's not within your intellectual scope.
