I searched and searched for help for this but i could not find any results.
Hope some of you experts in this forum here can help me.

My minecraft vanilla is a little bit slower, so i think its something with Java.

Short Decription:
I started my computer, waited a few minutes and opend the FTB launcher. Pressed launch and waited a few minutes at the Mojang page. After 5 min i gave up, i knew something was wrong. Normally the game start after a minute at the Mojang page. But not this time. Looked at console, and there was some red colors. As showed in the pastebin, it took 15 min.

Better Decription:
As the title says my gamelaunch (not sure it's called that, but i mean when i press "Launch") has becommed slower(the ever first time is today). When i launch the pack Direwolf20 and come to the Mojang page/pictiure, it becomes slow. When i say slow, i mean it take longer time to get in the game for me. Normally when i launch the pack it takes about a minute and then im in the game. But today (when this post was written) it took 15 minutes as shown in the pastebin link lower. I looked a few times at the console, and saw something about Forge, was written with red. I don't know what thats mean, but i think the red color is a bad thing.

I tried:
I tried some times to restart the game, and evry time i start it, it is slow. I deleted the launcher and my pack folder. But it was slow again too. I installed Java agian to Update 21 (Before i got Update 17). And i restarted my computer a few times.

Pastebin:

My pc specks:
Intel® Core 2 Duo 3.00 GHz
2x ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT (SLI, i think its called)
4 GB of RAM. 1 GB Ram for FTB
Windows Vista 32 bit

I normally got OptiFine Standard D5

The thing i wanna know, is:
How can i fix the problem?
What caused the problem?

Thanks for taking time looking at this Forum Page. I tried to describe as good as i could, and translate on my own, to english.

Leave a comment, if u got a quieston, at launcher or pc and stuff like that

No errors in your log, so I'm going to further a guess that it's a vista pagefile problem of some sort, and x86 makes it worse.

Navigate to your appdata/roaming folder and delete the ftblauncher folder before running the launcher again.

My advice is to get a decent x64 base computer. i5s are pretty cheap atm.

Thanks guys for the replys.

Im only running Skype and someting, but that never been a problem.

Im also going to have a new computer next month. I have tried to delete ftblauncher folder in the Roaming folder, but it did't helped. I also tried to re-install Java, but don's helped too.

Try loading without skype on at all.
Skype is also pretty intense for your computer

Turn your computer off.
Turn it back on.
(If you have Skype set up to start on computer start, Quit Skype)

Open FTB and launch the modpack. (Don't start a game)

Post your console log from that.

Did you change something in the configs or add a mod?

Seems a computer issue thought about re-installing the OS?

There might be a way to fix this or you might want to go dig a hole and give a nice burial to a very old computer.

No way then. I thnik it's better to sell it than using all my power on a hole.

But thats Minecraft or Java. I know that. I may just be a Minecraft Vanilla problem, because i re-installed Java.

My Win7 64bit has no problems, its just so god tham laggy, beacuse it's a laptop.

My secondary computer is a laptop absolute crap couldn't play but Ubuntu brought it from 10-60 fps kinda awesome.

Tbh, nowadays it's not that hard at all. You press random buttons and things happen.
I refrain from telling people to do things your average user can't do on their own. Considering a lot of people I respond to can't even properly uninstall Java.

You gotta remember the "average user" has a very low knowledge level.

Just talking from experience and installing Ubuntu is easy they even have a windows installer you can see if it works if not you go back in windows click a button and quicky uninstall it. If it works you can install it the real way, if you have a craptastic computer it can really help. I dont suggest it but there is no risk.

@ash I consider most of the people I try to help on this forum are going to either be in the age range of 8 to 15 or are just going to be angry and tell me "that's not what my problem is" because they obviously know better than the people they are asking for help, or both.

@OP great job! Enjoy your game and ty for being patient.
