But what other things do we have to do? I don't have much experience or knowledge when concerning getting a server succes. Just a modpack and a server isn't quite enough.

Why IDfix? I can sort out all the IDs myself. Also Better Dungeons is already in there, and I don't see why we can't have both,
Yep, and also yep.

Sorting out IDs is not difficult, and Better Dungeons + Roguelike is awesome.

Edit: And if you do plan on doing this, UHS2 is on the ATLauncher and pretty much does everything you want to.

Sorting out IDs is not difficult, and Better Dungeons + Roguelike is awesome.

I originally thought he didn't want multiple dungeon mobs so he only did rouge like. I also said IdFix because there is this weird thing with torch levers where every time Sort out the Ids with torch levers it crashes my minecraft until I remove it. Though you may have better luck

You are probably changing the IDs to another used-ID. IDFix is a nice mod, but it really doesn't do any justice when you want to actually know how to do this, so in future when you want to create a pack you aren't depending on this mod; it might not get updated to every version.

I checked that just to make sure(TextWrangler allows me to view multiple documents and search them for anything).

Oh wait I was using BetterFurnaces which had 1 id I forgot about after reviewing it, 8005[DOUBLEPOST=1389225200][/DOUBLEPOST]well, PM me went you get a stable and verrified modpack on the atlauncher so that I may impliment it into my server

Thanks for supporting me one my choices. However, UHS2 does not do anywhere near what we want. It doesn't have any Tech or Magic mods in. It's a great alternative pack, and playing UHC would be great on that pack, except we're looking for something a bit more techy.

Problem, after reviewing this you have Infernal Mobs, last time I checked he would only let you use any of his mods in your modpack IF one of the mods was of your creation...

Agriculture, Falling Meteors, Galacticraft, Grimiore of Gaia, Minegicka 2, MFFS, Pams HarvestCraft, and Sync are the only problems I can see with it. Though it kind of seems like you are going for a mesh of mods and claiming it's a PVP-based pack, so I don't really see the point.

Agriculture - not necessary in a pvp scenario, more foods? Well Fed? Meh, you should be more focused on fighting, and as soon as you get a pig farm + DC stuff you don't ever need to eat manually again (Baconater)

Falling Meteors - Why?

Galacticraft - When will you want to do PVP in space? It'd be a pain, I mean sure, GC is a really fun mod, but it's really impractical for anything productive. And productivity shouldn't even be the goal of a playthrough, it should be getting the strongest armor and weapons.

Grimiore of Gaia - All the mobs are OP and all players will constantly be dying; they won't have time to actually play the game because they will constantly be looking for their items. This is even more prominent if natural regen is turned off.

Minegicka 2 - It's just a messy mod with not a whole lot of purpose.

MFFS - Get a cube and a solar panel, no one can touch you. >win

Pams - See Agriculture

Sync - Very exploitable in a PVP situation.

I was surprised to not see Balkons Weapons make it to the pack as well.

UHS2 does not do anywhere near what we want. It doesn't have any Tech or Magic mods in.

Actually yes. UHS2 includes Thaumcraft, and actually a ton of the items are based around Thaumcraft as well as Tinkers (Wyld customized the pack and recipes to an insane extent to make it exactly as he wanted using MineTweaker). It also includes Tinkers construct and Railcraft, which are both considered tech mods.

Spot on on all of that, implementing those mods would probably lead to some kind of weird RPG modpack thingy, also balkons weapons, I like it and its sole purpose is pvp, is it bad or good i can't tell when you say "surprised". Also what do you mean manually?

"Surprised" meaning it's awesome and fits perfectly for this. I love that mod, and it's always been, always should be in my modpacks. I love the Blunderbuss (though the Katana needs some buffing, 6 damage for a diamond katana, that costs exactly the same as a diamond sword doing 7 damage? lame)

When downloading an ATLauncher pack, it will download the files you have permission to include in the main download, and then when it hits the mod that can't be included, it will open up your browser, open the adf.ly link or whatever the author uses for dl. You download it, they get a penny, and it will tell you to put it in a certain folder.

Dude, ATLauncher. No need for permissions. If we don't get permission they don't distribute it. It's pretty cool.

There is no HarvestCraft in the Modpack. Falling Metoers would be a nice bonus, but I'll remove it. I had removed Agriculture for the reason you wanted it gone, but then I added it back in, but I think I'll flip-flop again. Minegicka shall be removed. MFFS doesn't make you untouchable as the purpose is to kill all of the other players, so you'll have to leave. I choose Sync because it could give you extra lives. I'll add Balkons. UHS still doesn't meet what I personally wanted.

Edit: I think you're right about Galacticraft, but the option to battle in space is too cool to miss out on.

Actually, If someone was in that cube, they would break the game, because if there are to people left one of them is in the buble and will stay alive no matter how hard the other tries. The object of the game is to survive and conquer
