idk if you whatch direwolf20 or some others on youtube/twitch, but last year (heheh) the showed this modded minigames server to the world, maybe we can get them to do the same for the pvp server

I'm using ATLauncher as otherwise we wouldn't be able to get the permissions for all of the mods. This way we can distribute the pack legally in it's complete form.

We're not related to the FTB team, I'm not sure how much they'd approve of us using their name and logo.

Are we in need of making a map for them to play on? We could do a Walls style thing.

i thought of world gen...
maybe mystcraft should be there, but not for the players so we can make create stuff like random portals to dimensions which have a total other biome or something[DOUBLEPOST=1388947004][/DOUBLEPOST]and walls... maybe oblvion instead of walls? or a giant clear glass (TiC) dome...

With Mystcraft the battle could extend into other dimensions, that could be a good thing. If we use world gen we can use TiC to enable a massive bedrock wall.

how about this: every team start in it's own mystcraft dimension and the portals to and from that dimension are scatterd acros the real overworld (the part of the overworld where the fighting happpens) all mystcraft ages are like the overworld, same biomes, same modifiers (maybe the sky color teh same as the team color)[DOUBLEPOST=1388947191][/DOUBLEPOST]the bedrock wall should be so thick a portable hole can't ge through,[DOUBLEPOST=1388947223][/DOUBLEPOST]maybe arcane blocks behind them

Can portable holes go through bedrock? I love the idea of different dimensions, but they should be able to pre-decide what they want in their dimensions. They have a limit of 12 pages. This should prevent people from spawning in void ages.

even if you write a mystcraft book completely safe it still can have instability.... so i think we should make the ages and give them about 5 minutes or so of save time., without enemies (so if you need loot do something else those 5 minutes). like The Walls

I can make a 5 deep bedrock surrounding wall in mcedit

what about this: a skilled person who spectates and makes some of the vids... for the youtube chanel we'll create for the server??
