In the new update of the FTB Ultimate modpack, I noticed that many minium stone recipes no longer work. (i.e. cannot turn diamond into gold, blaze powder into blaze rods, etc.) Is this a bug or is it intentional? I can understand why they would remove the blaze rod to blaze powder one, but why diamond to gold?

It's a bug.

It is a bug, and an update that isn't yet part of the FTB beta has fixed it (it's a conflict between EE3 and Factorization)

However, the blaze powder to blaze rod recipe has been removed.

Ok. I'm fine with the blaze powder one being removed, as it was pretty much flat-out cheating. I would be angry however if I actually had to go mining for ages to get enough diamonds for things.

It has nothing to do with it. At all. Update EqE to latest and get forge updated.

Nothing to do with it AT ALL? Haha.... clearly it does if it solved the problem. It's a conflict between factorization and EE3, and going back to the older factorization build solves the problem. It isn't that hard to understand...

The bug shows up randomly and can appear if you start the server one time then come back after. Please don't be mad about being wrong here. Even Pahimar had a huge problems trying to figure out what was up and only recently was the problem solved.

I never got a clear explanation of the forge bug, but I can only assume it was a time sensitive bug.

You may be right, but this does not prove it.

Let's say there's a random chance that a butterfly will burst into flames. I reach into my pocket to pull out a quarter, and the butterfly does not combust. That was in no way related to the fact that I pulled out a quarter.

I kind of hope you're kidding. You do know what equal means, right?

But is that mod actually that? Because looking at ore distribution 64 iron <==> 8 gold <==> 1 diamond it probably is. But is it when you make a vanilla 1300 iron/hour golem farm? 1300 iron<==> ~162 gold <==> 20 diamonds. Honestly, it probably isnt. As iron (& ender pearls) beyond a certain point has no value...

yeah, exactly. There's a ton of problems with the mod, but that doesn't mean we should just get rid of it and the whole thing is OP. I've heard people say that even being able to switch iron into gold is OP. It isn't it gives you a chance to remove chance and rarity in exchange for quantity and hard work.
