since a few days i'm having issues (big problems) with my launcher

it won't start any modpack, and i mean ANY modpack. all it says in the console is a major error with things missing all over the place. i updated and reïnstalled my java versions (with which i have another problem that my x64 system doesnt want to run x64 java), changed a few settings in the options of the launcher, but nothing works. i posted my log in a file in this thread, hopefully anyone can see something there that i did wrong or that i need to fix, because right now im thinking about installing the technic pack launcher so i can at least play minecraft...

Its your java thats causing the problem, its actually a 32-bit version. In order to load up any modpack, you need the 64-bit version. Make sure when you download java that you get the 64-bit version, don't just click on the big Download Java Here button, which only gives you the 32-bit. Too double check, find your java folder. If its in C:/Program Files your good, but if its in C:/ Program Files(x86) its the 32-bit version.

^This.

It's also a good idea to completely remove older Java versions, unless you have some other Java software running... Some older versions don't uninstall and leave files laying around that can trip you up unless you completely uninstall. The last couple of versions are supposed to fix that but then again the Oracle page still always installs a 32-bit version of Java when you click the "Download Java Here" button, even if you already have a 64-bit version installed...

well, i've tried it all: uninstall all my java versions, installed the latest x64 java version, there is only 1 version (java 1.8_40) in my program files (not in my x86 folder), and it still doesnt work, i even tried the beta launcher, reinstalled the modpacks

ftb doesnt want to run any modpack, so ill stick to technic launcher, because that works

It looks like your LZMA library could be missing or damaged. Try running the FTB launcher from a different location (and/or changing the "install folder" in the options) so that it can rebuild its directory structure.
