What are the tank walls built with?
4 steel around cobblestone, which yields 4 tank wall blocks. 4 steel around glass yields 4 of the glass. 4 steel around a control circuit yields 1 valve.

So it's the same expense as a steel tank but under half the volume.
I think I'll stick to my Railcraft steel tanks, thank you very much.
Eh, almost as much, anyways. Remember, 4 steel = 3 plates now. So Railcraft's tanks about about 25% more expensive. So it's the same expense as a steel tank but under half the volume.

All it will do is respawn the portal on the same spot where it is now: veeeery deep below Ways' old base.
I guess the BoP version in RR is outdated then, the most recent version has a portal spawn a few hundred meters above where you use the rod. Before some of the people on Resonant Rise build that very expensive staff: Don't.
It has been built already and the portal to the Promised Land Dimension is already in place and open. Note: It always spawns a portal at the same coordinates. This makes it utterly useless to craft the staff a second time. All it will do is respawn the portal on the same spot where it is now: veeeery deep below Ways' base.
I never bothered to check before I wrote my reply. It was a mere warning not to re-build the staff once more. On top of that, the RR server already has several entry points to the Promised Land, thus it would be doubly useless.I guess the BoP version in RR is outdated then, the most recent version has a portal spawn a few hundred meters above where you use the rod.
Said version also requires you to get the gems to make it. The old one always spawned it at x=0 y=32 z=0, or something like that, and required less stuff.
I know about the Nether. I just don't like travelling for new worldgen because I have no clue what I've generated before, no idea if I'm going to find what I am looking for in the current chunk or absolutely nothing. I travel a LOT in my worlds. It's a preference thing, there's not arguing it.
