Can they still craft by the stack?

To be more specific, can I still use 'em to alkahest crap into redstone and lapis?

Glad BC is getting back into the current meta, IC should do the same.

I thought this has been around for ages... at least since season 3 or 4 of DW's multiplayer let's play.

Covert made pretty large changes to the auto tables and pretty much all machines in the recent builds, so it is different than before.

Am i the only one that doesn't see the advantage of these over the regulair auto crafting tables? Sure the regulairs need some more work to get working, but they are faster and dont use energy at all.

well the only thing I can see. No engine or gate needed to pull the items out.

That they can't handle non-stackable items so you can't use them to make enderchests, dispensers, anything with a Minium Stone, or with a handsaw, Wrath Igniter, etc.

Wasn't the non stackable item thing in since forever? And always resolved by putting a chest next to the crafting table to have the items be pumped into there. Or are we thinking about diffrend things now?

but now you can't even set up a recipe with a non stackable

so if you want auto crafting with non-stackables you need the advanced crafters

I just love how minecraft has changed our terminology so much. Never have I thought that non-stackables would be a word that I would accept without a second thought!

...Dangit, I just thought of it.

Ah, now that is something i wasn't aware of yet. Suppose this gives the advanced crafter a bit more use then. They are infinitely easyer to set up because you dont have to mess with pipes and thigns so much now, and the lazers are cool.. alright, you win. This block has a good use over the regulair auto crafting table.

If you're worried about a 1.5+ crafting table, the Cyclic Assembler already exists. I'm pretty sure the Advanced Crafting Table has been around for a while as well, hasn't it? Or is this a mechanics change?

Pretty sure it is mechanics. I believe the Adv. Table before used the same inventory for input and output making it hard to only output what you want and not the materials. The second change is the passing, one crafting table using the output from another. That's completely new.
