Something (in my eyes) weird happened to me this morning. I went into the Pneumaticraft questline and did the first quest. I chose the seed storage as optional reward, since I thought it might actually contain some of the seeds I might still be missing. I have stored a good hand full already in my exploits, but I am pretty sure some are still missing.
I threw the I/O drive into its slot and was utterly surprised when the seed storage only yielded only 2 pieces of wood, a drying rack and a golden lasso .... and that was it ... not a single seed ... guess I have to leave Robit out alone in the dark.
Is that a bug? Is it intended? The name of the module would a really evil confusion if the second option applies. Or am I missing something here?

Thats because the old map drives dont work with the new HQM... Submit the drives to the server quests to get the rewards

I have trubbles to complit quest "Printed silicon" and "Logic circuit". I put silicon into Inscriber with Inscriber Silicon Press and get Printed Silicon, press "Manual detect" in quest book on this quest, but йuest does not count

Jack o' Lanterns as they give light but no heat...and hella easier to get than Glowstone. I quit using torches (overheating, setting everything on fire, etc) and switched to using Jack o' Lanterns everywhere once I got some pumpkin seeds.

I want to ask you guys on, why should I go to space? What is there that I should get and why?
I like my home base and I will not remake it on the moon or anywhere else.
And what should I bring with me besides the things from the quests?

And should I bring energy to space remotely from earth or do it in there?

Asteroids and planets are supposed to have better ores...

I want to make a huge space station once I reach space...

I'm grinding like anything down the industrial revolution tech tree now...

I find it crazy that steel casings have EVERYTHING but steel in them... Quite literally...

Steel casings are so insanely grindy...

"/hqm edit" gives a cheaty book that can complete broken quests.

We've tried reinstalling FTB, redoing the Blast Off pack, deleted his character data from the server in the hopes the server wouldn't think he had ever logged in and still nothing.

I seem to be crashing while opening user interfaces. Kinetic Energy Buffer and Kinetic Duster (opened with the buildcraft machine configurator) are the only two things that have hit me so far. Anything using the buildcraft configurator causes client crashes.

Delete his player data.. though that would mean that he loses his inv.

I'm running 1.3.3 (I'm not sure if it's the version or my PC that's acting up), and every time I attempt to launch the game within 10 seconds it crashes. My current guess is that the version is buggy, but I'm not too sure.

EDIT: After downgrading to 1.3.1, it still won't launch with the same error as above, so it must be my computer. Any help would be helpful because the point of help is to be helpful.

EDIT EDIT: It DOES allow me to launch other modpacks, (FTB Terra), meaning that this is the only modpack that is acting up.

EDIT: After downgrading to 1.3.1, it still won't launch with the same error as above, so it must be my computer. Any help would be helpful because the point of help is to be helpful.

EDIT EDIT: It DOES allow me to launch other modpacks, (FTB Terra), meaning that this is the only modpack that is acting up.

Delete FTB folder (after u backup ur worlds) then reinstall FTB

To make enough galgadorian metal for the 4 steel casings you need you need 19 brass blocks or 171 brass ingots...

Considering you can't automate (no autonomous activator) the crucible you have to click it 171 times and then 342 more clicks (1 to open, 1 to close) on the mold casing for a grand total of over 500 clicks (not including filling the cauldron) just to get the BRASS to make the galgadorian... That's not even counting everything else.

This is ridiculous. If you're going to have such high requirements to make stuff you must ensure that the processes can be automated.

Difficulty is not making a player repeat the same action over and over and over again.

At this stage I firmly believe anyone who made it to space cheated... There's simply no way to do that unless you dedicate like 500 hours of your life to clicking. I'm seriously debating on whether to just give up on this modpack and move back to regrowth.

Like I have said in several posts before I think that this is a good concept for a modpack but the insistence on avoiding 'popular' mods leads to a lack of ability to automate the processes. Couple that with insanely high requirements for the advanced stuff and its just silly.

Being different for the sake of being different when it damages the fun factor is not a good thing. This modpack desperately needs a similar block to the autonomous activator or the requirements for advanced stuff need to be drilled down.

Edit - Actually yeah I'm out... Without autonomous activator nothing can ever truly be automated anyway which might be OK for MP but not for SP... It's just going to be a grind forever with no pay off. Good luck with the pack. I feel like it's a shame my ~20 hours with it has come to an end because of this issue.

Drones..... There is a reason there is a modlist for you to look at..... and as of 1.3.3 you can automate crucible witgh redstone signal... lol

Have you actually tried to do that? The crucible bugs out and doesn't properly work. It gets stuck in the 'down' position and only fills the mold half the time. The mold cannot be automated and must be opened by hand.

Also as far as I know drones cannot simulate right clicks. Although I could be wrong, I've only seen spotlights on them, not used them myself.

Drones can simulate right click... I will take a look into crucible buging out
