Ok so make a L

O blocks G glowstone liquid A air. It should flow over and up and the source block should remaind trapped.

Problem what?
I get it, like a water or lava block flowing out of a hole in the wall, only upside down.

That's all it takes? Man, might be time to make a Sauron model for wearing in my tower of doom.

Are there any specs I should follow?

Minor details:
-subdivide quads into triangles unless the model is 100% quads
-group polygons according to what part of the body they should move with and/or what colour group they should be. For SebK's model, there's one polygon group for each of the glowy bits, one for each arm, one for each leg, one for each boot, one for the head, and one for the chest.
-don't do fancy shit like dynamic textures (although...maybe...)

Ooooh, allowments for non-symetrical armor, nice.

Steve still renders inside, right? He'll clip if I do a nonstandart size helmet for example.

Imagine we'd use nif's stead'a obj. or something similar. Animated bits FTW. (Propeller hat? Why not!)

Also, finally something I can do for minecraft I'm truly proficient in instead of just "can do".

Oh, and now I have titanium production going so I've made a couple of bits of diamond plating for my suit (lol if only I could make it from diamonds :p) and a MV battery yay :D And I have some iridium so as soon as I get around to obtaining more copper (oops) I'll have some fancy circuit things to make all kinds of awesome... yay!

[edit] Hang on, how did the ladders thread become the MPS thread? I mistook it for the thread we were posting all the MPS stuff in because MM was posting about models here. Oh well.

Speaking of MPS (and the epic new armour models), what I wouldn't give for some decent modelling ability so I could make some Mass Effect armour or something... hangin' out in Minecraft, rocking your Cerberus Assault Armour. That's how I roll.

We do now have the capability to load in arbitrary models via a unified system, but I would have to write a parser for the .nif file...it would be a lot more work than what I'm ready to put out for this. Sorry :/

Yeah, I know that :) it's why I said "imagine" instead of "I suggest" or something. Waaay to much work for something which doesn't add much gameplay value. Besides, nif's are really free game. (Although there are other that are)

But still, damn :D.
