Well, she has at least partly ported RP to 1.5 according to twitter, and I'd guess she might of worked on 1.6 a little bit, so I don't know if recoding it entirely would be needed.Surely if actual redpower makes a comeback it will be rp3
*1.10I personally think we have a higher chance of seeing a Xycraft release by Christmas this year (tomorrow for me) then we do of seeing a RP release before minecraft 2.0. And I think that's being generous.
I don't get this attitude. Equivalent Exchange was crucial to the original FTB map concept, yet when that got abandoned (sure, it was replaced with a mod that had the same name but 1% of the same functionality), no-one says the same thing about never trusting any future EE version. No mod pack has ever been world-compatible across MC versions, so what does it matter that a mod skips a few versions? XyCraft skipped 1.5 and might be seriously late to the 1.6 party, IC2 is effectively gone and replaced with a very different mod, as is TE, why all the hate for RP2? Only, as far as I can tell, because it was so well-loved. Personally, I would squee like a jaded cat if RP2 or RP3 appeared even if it takes until Summer 2015 for Minecraft 1.9.9.I personally think we have a higher chance of seeing a Xycraft release by Christmas this year (tomorrow for me) then we do of seeing a RP release before minecraft 2.0. The difference being XyCraft is actively being worked on.I personally think we have a higher chance of seeing a Xycraft release by Christmas this year (tomorrow for me) then we do of seeing a RP release before minecraft 2.0. And I think that's being generous.
Install Mekanism, play Mekanism, thank me later. It's an amazing mod.The thing I really miss that I have yet to see other mods copy... cool ass windmills like RP2 had. :/
I won't. If I can't trust the author to continue updating it, why would I use it? I'm personally not going to use RP if it ever gets updated (it won't).If a new version ever comes out with even a single new machine, I think that most people will return to RP2...
I was thinking the exact same thing. I never used them outside of powering my allow furnaces and sorting machines but man were they cool. The thing I really miss that I have yet to see other mods copy... cool ass windmills like RP2 had. :/
