Is the Block Breaker OP?

I was just asking about your opinion! Damn it, should have seen the wave of "it is bad and not useful fuck you" coming when I posted this.

Don't be so cynical. Several people thought it was OP and will continue to do so. Just because people don't agree that it's not overpowered means the thread was unsuccessful it means discussion was had.

Oh, I'm pretty sure that isn't what you were doing. Obviously a thread with a title that contains the Phrase "Is XX OP?" will stir up a lot of commotion. Are you saying that you started this thread just to gather opinions? If so, I'm having some trouble believing that.

Yes, I was gathering opinions. You may have some trouble imagining it, but I think about people's opinion before doing what I want to do. My ridicously simple frame quarry 4x4x28 is in production, thought. Tunnel making is my favorite thing to do.
 
I don't think it's really that OP, because quite honestly people have QUARRYS which are WAAAAAY OP.
Block breakers are good for two things:
Keeping a non-mining world (especially on servers) having huge holes ripped in them by quarrys
They reduce lag
So no, I don't think they are OP because let's be honest, cobble is EASY to get.
