This ain't a debate, really. More of a normal derailed thread here. No one cares what the OP said at this point, so it's a place to talk about GT now.

Come to think of it, a admin should make a thread for talking about GregTech and sticky it considering how much of a hot button issue it is.

I hope so, fusion reactors are rewarding and should always get better and harder He should also make some other form of mass power production like the fusion reactor, or maybe just a fuel that works a lot better than deuterium and what not that needs a highly complex machine to make it

Of course, any sort of block-by-block comparison falls apart since Forestry, IC2/GregTech, and Thermal Expansion all have /radically/ different ore generation defaults and copper/tin consumption rates.

And within the FTB environment, it's always the TE generation.

Actually, that is not what that setting is for at all. So you're being completely disingenuous by saying that. The unificator stuff is all handled by TE via plugin, and happens REGARDLESS of the override setting.

The TE Hack option is very specifically to change machine recipes that he disagrees with. I'm going out of my way to use his API to provide the ore dictionary functionality.

The unification used to depend on certain options being true in your config. Has that changed?
