Life has been really hectic as of late and i couldn't get any Minecraft Footage! My channel withh have Super Mario World with Pakoo fir a few days as filler and we can get right back in!

5 f-bombs in the first 3 minutes of the video? I understand your caveat in the first post about not being G-rated, but holy smokes.
Edit: I think your channel has potential, it's just a tad salty from the tiny bit I've seen.

Thanks a lot though! I'll definitely keep an eye on the language. I've got a few vids lined up that have been rendered and since it takes forever to render I can't do much for those.
However with each series my friends and I have done it gets better and better. I'll definitely be less "salty" in the other vids I promise.

I understand how it is. I've recorded (but not released) several test commentaries, and on playback I see and hear myself doing things I *still* need to work on. One really annoying habit I have is that "running around in circles and wobbling my view" when I'm explaining something. I think it is because my hands need something to do when I'm talking, so they just "get busy" and I don't even notice I'm doing it until after the fact.
I've cleaned up my word choices pretty well, although creepers can sometimes elicit a doozy from me every once in a while. My big issue is to try and stop the nervous unnecessary movement.
In any case, I'm following your channel to see how things progress, like I said earlier I think you have some good potential!

Thanks again! Like I said I got the second and third videos already made and rendered so I can't do much about it, but going through the fourth one I blipped out a few f-bombs. Kept a few in near the beginning.
I'm also trying not to say "um" and "so" a lot. Sweet baby Jesus when you do this alone you really gotta watch out for it.

A good video, @Damien Darkside! I thought you did pretty well keeping the viewer engaged while you worked on your project, and it was a refreshing change from what many other YouTubers do.
My favourite Youtubers are (and this is obvious if you watch the Tomb Raider series and things with Maplepasta/Terra) both Markiplier and Game Grumps. I like how they have both videos where you have to watch them to get jokes (like Sonic [GG] or FNAF [Mark]) then there are ones where you just listen to them talk like a podcast (Shadows of the Colossus for Game Grumps), I am especially a huge fan of Danny talking about his past. I also watch Twitch Streams from Sandy Ravage and Vinnie from Vinesauce because they engage the audience WHILE THEY PLAY instead of just WATCHING them play.
I'm 25 going on, I am definitely older than most Minecraft Youtubers and I hope that people like that. Plus I can talk about a bit more mature things since everybody likes that and I don't have to worry about Mom over my shoulder. I can actually draw on life experiences because... you know... kinda lived on my own for a while and I have moved across Canada by myself as well.
Sometimes I like having a partner (like Pakoo, where we range from Pretty Funny to Absolutely Broken by Sonic Generations) and Maple, especially having a back and fourth between them. I might to a few MC episodes with Pakoo while I play solo.
Thanks! I am almost done the section of recording sessions that this took up. I usually go about 6 episodes before I stop. I got some time tomorrow to do more recording and now that I know how much I am actually swearing, there will be less... salt. Although I will swear every once in a while, maybe twice a video. Hey if Markiplier and the Game Grumps can do it so can I 
Funnily enough I talked about my swearing in Episode 5, I must have realized I was actually dropping f-bombs, although given me actually posting these videos I did a bit of audio recording and placed it over that section explaining it better.
The next two videos have most of the swearing blipped by muting as the end of Episode 4. I got some really good royalty-free music for Episode 6, where there are two time-lapse segments and builds. I prefer actually showing people the build rather than too many time-blips.
Sweet Lucifer rendering 1080p, 60fps and edited footage takes up a lot of resources. Only time my computer has lagged.

I have "Action!" for recording both my voice and video for when I do Minecraft or computer-emulated old console games. I have Cyberlink Powerdirector that came with my Windows 8 for processing video.
However for 360/XBONE games we have a terrible Roxio capture card, and I use Audacity on my old laptop to capture audio.

Good video. I saw how you put the water source blocks under the back of the house, that was a neat touch. As you noted, you're an adult and can commentate your videos in whatever way works best for you. I was pointing it out as it may cut into your potential viewer numbers as your channel picks up steam. Gaming with your mates, I think that's completely understandable that it'll get a bit more animated as you play off of each other. For your solo let's play, I think you're finding a good balance.
