75 *The rest find us, I quickly tell the human about the invisible barrier who then proceeds to touch it. However he can go right through it. I then try to get through it but it stops me.
The human is surprised, magic is obviously used but he never saw a barrier that just stops animals. He then closely looks at the stones in the ground he never saw stuff like this. He then tells me to get help with the digging as it may be the only way to get @sgbros1 out of it. I don't hesitate and quickly run to the village, while the human stays behind and tries to dig with his bare hands.

73 *Moments later I return with some people, they brought shovels and other equipment to help digging and after some time the stone is removed and @sgbros1 can get out.
The human then tells about the rotting corpses of the wolves, and you can see that no one likes the news. I lead them to the corpses, once there everyone reacts like they see an old friend, laying dead. However they quickly get themselves together and make something to get the corpses to the village to let the others say farewell and give them a good place to be buried. The walk to the village is done in silence and once there the whole village starts to grief for the loss of the wolves. A good place to bury them is chosen and after the holes are made and everyone said goodbye the corpses are buried. *

*the human:*
I wouldn't be surprised if Lens now wants to stay in the area for a bit, I first thought he wouldn't stay long but after today I think he changed his plans.
So, let me tell you something about me, this town and Lens. First off of all, my name is Olíron. I am the healer of this village. Now, as you may have noticed we had good bonds with Lens and the rest of his pack. Very good ones in fact. When the first humans came to this place the pack of Lens was dominant here, every other creature was scared for them this was all long before I, lens or even you where born. The first humans discovered how strong that pack was, however they also knew their magic would mean they would win any encounter but instead of fighting against the wolves they decided to make a deal. The humans had a need for plants that live too deep in the forest to get, but the wolves could very easily grab them. The wolves needed food, and the humans had ways to get more then enough of it especially if the wolves and humans went to hunt together. The deal was made and the wolves and the people from our village lived in peace for ages.
However it would not forever be this way, we where able to get the needed plants to grow here and animals the wolves hunted on where going deeper and deeper into the forest. The wolves could have stayed but that would make them totally reliant on us, something they didn't want and thus they left. Only the older ones stayed as they where too old for the journey. This was when Lens just became an adult.*

*Olíron:* Lens often helped me and he was always there when I needed him, that is something everyone that was born before they left would say about him. He was more often with us then with the rest of the wolves, and even if he was with the wolves it was mostly those 4. When the pack leader decided that they would go Lens was presented a difficult choice. Stay here with the humans and become the only wolf of the area or go with the others. I wanted him to be with the others, after all he is a wolf and not a dog. The day they left was painful for this village, they lived so long with us we couldn't imagine to live without them but we also knew it was better that way.

Huh. That's unusual. What's weirder is that doesn't look like a canine digging with its paws... that looks like it was done by men with shovels. And here, I thought this place was mostly uninhabited...

*I return to the place where @sgbros1 got caught. I find a human nearby, I don't recognize him, nor do I have an idea what he does. I stay at a distance*

*I recognize the stones, and see that I have no way to get close to the human. I decide that he probably did it to protect himself, thus he already knows about me and as he didn't attack me won't do so if I get closer. I slowly get closer to the stones, trying to make clear that I don't want to attack. Once nearby:*
Why did you trap the fox? And who are you?

64? *is startled when the spirit wolf speaks to me*
I am a thaumaturge, an artificer-wizard, you might say. I create magical tools and artifacts, but have no way to perform magic except through them, unlike most wizards. As for why I trapped that fox, he just creeped me out a bit, that's all.

Many years ago, in a very distant land, I encountered a goblin who had picked my pockets, then was all like "No, I am definitely not holding something of yours behind my back." Of course, he had stolen something from me, and when I started getting suspicious, he started edging away and running. Ever since then, I've been suspicious of anyone acting overly innocent, because it looks, to me, at least, like they're trying to hide something form me.

Now, yesterday [this morning... whenever], I was out exploring an area far from here when I stumbled upon this fox who was acting not unlike that goblin- trying to look all cute, but clearly hiding his paws. That tripped all kinds of alarms in my head, and I figured the best course of action would be to back away slowly, then warp back here. Which usually works fine- my pla... uh, teleportation magic can only transport a small bubble of space around me, so anything trying to follow me home would have to get very close to me to do so. But when I got back here, there was that fox, looking up at me like nothing had happened. So I panicked, ran inside, and grabbed the first thing I could get my hands on that would hopefully keep the fox contained until I could figure out what was going on and how to get him back to his home safely.

It can not be the same fox, as the one you trapped was near me for a long time.
You however should be careful if you want to stay alone. An infection is spreading through the forest, corrupting every living being and death is the best outcome it has to offer. Other beings know about it and are working on containing it, but the infected area is big and it will be a long fight before its gone and in the meantime your home is practically in the infected area.
