8 the windows of my room will finally get replaced. (their frames are starting to rot and they couldn't close properly as a result).

Problem is, apparently the whole wall needs to be broken down, it was also the wall where my desk normally stands.

So...after a "small" redecoration, my desk is now on the other side, an Ethernet cable is going across the floor and my second monitor is on my right side instead of my left.
Also, due to an extreme lack of power outlets on this side of the room one switch will remove the power of EVERYTHING. And yes, this includes my server.

What can possibly go wrong /s

7 well, its not my fault that the only place where I can place the desk is also the place which has only 4 outlets but they are ALL controlled by that switch.

6. Not saying it is your fault, just making light of the fact that it would not be out of place in places like China, gopnik Russia, or Africa where bootleg and improvisation rule supreme.

4. I have made a poem for this conversation.

Hanky panky
is how we're janky,
we make up stuff
that does enough
for what we need to do.

The EU are insane...
https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX:52016PC0593 <- This is a proposed law, and articles 11 and 13 are absurd. The document referenced by 11 is https://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=OJ:L:2001:167:0010:0019:EN:PDF
Essentially 11 makes linking to a new article a violation of copyright, as it gives the publisher the right to "authorize or prohibit the making available to the public ... in such a way that members of the public may access them from a place and at a time individually chosen by them"
13 essentially requires censorship of things that might violate copyright prior to upload, effectively killing fair use.
