58 when a poison ships land it creates an area around itself that slowly expands and in this area plants slowly die. This area is marked with snow.

Also, a manhunter pack of wargs entered the area and now some tribes people want to help me get rid of them. I have the weird feeling that this will end poorly.

62 manhunter boomalopes are fun though, for as long as you can kill them from a distance :p
As for manhunter thrumbos, not sure if that is possible due to them only entering your map as an event.

And for as far as I know there are no dinosaurs in the base game (doesn't mean there is not a mod that adds them because the mod api is fricking awesome )

64 I...don't?_?
He got the event for thrumbo's and he might very well pissed one off as that happens as soon as you want to tame one or hurt one

Maybe he just got the Mad Animal event right after the thrumbo event, and it picked a thrumbo to go insane. But I could've sworn that he had a bunch of mad thrumbos at some point as well.

Well, there is a difference in having an animal go insane and getting a man hunter pack
animal insane can happen when you hurt an animal or just randomly
manhunter pack only happens randomly and new animals will enter the map just like a raid does. It can also involve creatures that normally won't be found on your map.

It can very easily be the case that aavak hunted a thrumbo and it went insane after that

67 I think he was pretty careful about leaving thrumbos alone when they appeared, until they came knocking at his doors.

Now I'm going to have to try to find the episode where that happened. It was somewhere in the middle of the New Camaraderie series, I know that much...

68 I was. I had the get bolts for a fan to put it in, and I found out I broke a power connector on a hard drive. Which is half of my issues. The other half is the version I was running I neglected to do a full reinstall when I updated to Windows 10. So I did that on a new hard drive. Hopefully all my issues will go away now.

72 At least some of the Windows dependency issues can be alleviated by things like Wine- a cross-platform program that basically just runs Windows executables. It doesn't do a perfect job, but it's good enough for the things I've had to use it for.

I haven't used Windows at all in a little over a year, and it's been about as long again since I used it outside of English 101, which happened to meet in a Win8 computer lab.

73 well, there are more things ported to Linux then you might at first think.
Then there are also programs that just replacements for the things you currently use (and sometimes they are better)
