As the title suggests, I had some fun with Buildcraft lasers and Ender IO a few weeks ago. I'd like to thank Aerin for the layout idea. Because of that layout, I managed to power up 1056 lasers all told as the few placed behind the Mystcraft lecterns wouldn't laser through the lecterns.
Facades were produced almost instantaneously, and diamond and/or gates were completed at a rate of a full stack in 2 minutes.
Gotta admit the whole thing was a lag machine and a half >_<.
Fun project all told though.

^_^ Not quite that bad.
While setting it up, you had to wait for the multiblock to recalculate and reform with each added capacitor bank. After 5 layers or so, that was real fun >_o :p. But all told it settled between something like 8 to 15 FPS while I usually play at 30 to 45ish.

We surmised it might be worth it to set it up in its own little void world and set a tesseract and chunkloader on it for quick gate production serverwide.

Uh...what? Recalculation should happen on a totally different time scale than that. I may go talk to CP and see what's going on there.

Great project and looks like fun !

Ender IO does indeed have some great stuff and the capacitor banks are among them. You have seriously inspired me to expand my lasers beyond the measly 3 I have now :p
