This is a comparison of the different FTB mod packs, so you can easily choose which mod pack is best for you. Please let me know if there are any errors.
PLEASE CHECK WHETHER YOUR PACK HAS THE LATEST VERSION OF A MOD BEFORE REPORTING A BUG TO MOD AUTHORS.

Update: It seems that the 1.5 packs will have an official list like this, so I've removed that pack from this spreadsheet because the official one will be more up to date. Depending on what happens when other 1.5.2 packs are released I may decide to continue, but until then, the only packs here will be 1.4.7 packs.

If all you want is Gregtech, I am doing the config for that, as you can see for the Mindcrack pack. I'm actually not sure which others have variable configs (If there are any?)

A table style might be easier for quick reference, as a suggestion:

I have added in a 'FTB experience' description for each of the packs. Most of them are pretty meaningless right now, but I hope to add to it as pack info is released.

EDIT: Just saw the table idea above. I might implement it, but I can often find tables confusing with as many rows and columns as I would need. I don't know what anyone else thinks though.

Table is a good idea. Once more of the packs are out you can take out all the mods that are in common. List them as core mods or something used across all packs and then hopefully have a smaller table with just the mods that are different.

Like if you take the above there are about 12? mods that are different.

I've put a table in now, so it will hopefully be easier to just glance at now. Peppe, I might use your idea depending on how cluttered it gets. I think it's fine for now though :)

I just wanted to point out that Traincraft conflicts with other mods when put into the Direwolf20 modpack.

The DW20 pack does have Computercraft included. I just about had a panic attack when I saw it wasn't on your list. xD

so the ultimate one will have every mod?
Not necessarily. I just mean that it will be the predominant pack, for instance I believe that Slow has said Gregtech will not be in.

Oops sorry about that, I'll fix it later, not at my computer right now.
EDIT: Fixed table, should show ComputerCraft in DW20 pack now

Mh... This is not good! I love to play along with Dire but he's not using Greg Tech and Thermal Expansion! That's a pretty hard dilemma!
