@AlCapella Digger's pack? Is that a private one? - Or I'm just a complete noob?

Thanks for thinking about usYes, private pack. Just like TPPI.
Here is the link to the mod pack. That entire area is a very interesting place to uncover a few private pack gems.
EDIT: If you are playing other launchers, try shneekeycraft pack on ATlauncher for variety. Or bevo's pack in the ATlauncher. That is also a "BIG" pack!
Hmm, yeah. And the problem is that; 1.7 introduced major changes to code and gameplay, and also, FTB seems always 1-2 updates behind due to how certain mods haven't updated. I was hoping for an 1.8 version soon. There is no ETA for a 1.7 version of AMP because 1.7 and mods are still very much in the early stages of development. Many mod authors haven't even started on their 1.7 builds yet and I wouldn't be surprised if many skip 1.7 entirely.
@Mevansuto shots fired on the MFFS topic, eh? The "original" MFFS is now maintained by minalien and a few others. It was mostly an "ideological" fork over one MFFS over the other. The interoperability of calclavia's mffs is definitely a huge plus though.
I'm hoping for a resonant induction centered pack.
Like an update to Ampz? I'd enjoy that.
I've had a lot of fun with it in 1.6. It'll be even better with AS becoming an addon.
That's just it though.. We probably won't be seeing 1.8 soon... And to be completely honest It's not unreasonable... It's allot to ask of modders to keep up with this rapid gunfire of updates, especially when it depends on one team who is always having to play catch up. They release snapshots of newer version of minecraft, but the team behind forge is working on cleaning up what's wrong with the current. Releasing 1.7.2 was a terrible choice in my honest opinion. I appreciate the thought and the work that went into it, however in that time they also knew that they would be dealing with all the past bugs, and issues of that version of minecraft. Azanor can't fix a rendering bug because, it's a bug within that specific version of minecraft itself that was fixed already. It gives mod devs a chance to adapt to some of the changes sure, but it also is putting them in a position where some bugs may crush certain aspects of their mods.. 1.7.2 is an extreme tip of the iceburg in modded minecraft in my honest opinion, as it changes allot of things behind the scenes, and it's also a buggy version of minecraft to begin with. I'm glad however that they have learned and while having a somewhat stable build of 1.7.2 is out, they are redirecting their work towards a more stable version of minecraft- that being 1.7.9Hmm, yeah. I haven't felt up to the challenge of troubleshooting the crashes to get either RI or AS added into my DW20 ssp game, so I'm waiting to see what life without block ID's will be like. I love the simplicity & ease of use of TE, but for a complicated tech progression mod, RI looks like it will fit my aesthetic sensibilities very well.
I really do hope they stop with mods disabled by default, players should have to disable mods they don't want, otherwise the modpack doesen't really have a theme at all.

I hope Dense Ores will be a new standard for the 1.7 modpacks. That's one of the first mods I've found interest in.
If anyone's interested, a few threads about the future 1.7 modpacks:

It won't be needed, at least for vanilla ores, in 1.8. 1.8 allows a custom worldgen that gives you control over what levels each ore spawns between, how big the clusters are, and how many chances/chunk of a cluster spawning.
