Short news! Why, you ask? We wanna save a lot for the upcoming Town Hall!

New Town Hall Date:

Calendars are hard. They're fascinating creatures that even we at Feed The Beast sometimes fail to understand. So, due to scheduling conflicts, will be running our monthly Town Hall next week on Tuesday August 4th at 3:00PM EST instead. We'll be covering the general state of the group as well as discussing upcoming goals, elaborating on future projects, taking questions from the public, and maybe even shoving in a secret reveal or two. This extra time gives us a chance to squeeze in some extra bits as well.

From last post: since we had a huge amount of participation on social media last time, we've ditched the Twitter tag and adopted a new system for submitting questions. We've set up our brand new Official Feed The Beast ask.FM account. If you've got a question for us that you want us to answer on stream, follow that link and send it our way!​

Launcher Update:

We updated our launcher yesterday with some bug fixes and branding changes. If you've got a copy already, this new build should automatically push to your computer.​

Motion Artist Wanted:

Feed The Beast is currently looking for a motion graphics artist to help on various projects such as pack trailers, stream intros/outros, and other smaller tasks. This is a volunteer position that will be working closely with the marketing and visual design teams. Experience with video production software such as Adobe Premiere and/or Sony Vegas is required; familiarity with Adobe After Effects and Cinema4D is a plus.

So do you intend on using ask fm for the town hall questions? What about after the town hall, will you still be able to answer questions online?

Yes and yes. What we saw happening the last few Town Halls were questions, especially those asked during the stream, getting lost to chat/Twitter. With ask.fm, we can easily organize and save questions so that we're not skipping over them. After the stream, we'll go back to answering questions normally on the forum/TeamSpeak/Twitter/reddit/etc. and the ask.fm will be put into storage and brought back out again during the next Town Hall.
