Windows .exe FTB Launcher is extremely slow

Have you tried a complete fresh install of the launcher and modpacks?

To do this, download a new copy of the launcher and put it in a new folder like c:/ftb/client.

Before running it, navigate to your appdata/roaming folder and delete the ftblauncher folder.

Now run the new client.

You will have to manually copy an worlds you want to keep to the new modpacks created.

Well if your vanilla is also affected, it has to be your computer.

I would back up any important files and format the entire hdd and reinstall windows. I also recommend downloading any driver updates and putting them on disk before formatting the hdd.

Actually, I just did all this last night myself.

oke i formatted my hdd and reinstalled windows and its working fine now thanks guys for the help:)

Oke the problem happend again...
but i just threw off windows vista and now im using windows 7 and its better it launches really quick
