I'd prefer to just allow the steam tools to have bigger tanks. We need a machine to pressurize (is that a word?) the steam and store it in a backpack, so that you can power your tools with that
I'll be doing something about that.I'd certainly like to see a way to make plates and brass more quickly than is currently available.
Maybe.Flaxbeard mentioned potentially adding a steam endosuit, would you consider adding that?
Yup, gonna do that.I like the current steam tools, but making them upgradable in a similar manner to the exosuit would be pretty awesome.
A steam powered buzzsaw?
Place a log in front, cut into planks (placing in front works with the WIP block placer- and is more fun to build/design than piping wood in)
Planks cut into 2 slabs
Slabs cut into sticks
Harvest/shear crops/plants ect (leaves/vines/grass drop as items)
Slices up any mob/player caught in the blade. (its not fun if its safe)
That sounds neat.I'm fine with TiC integration, I just won't personally be using it And yeah, we barely discussed it.Pretty sure we thought of it and vetoed it last night.
EDIT: Talking about TiC integration.
There is not. Now, what I actually would like to suggest is some cross mod functionality with Tinkers, not sure if there is or isn't as I haven't played it in awhile.
That sounds interesting. And how about like a Steam bullet train kinda thing? Basically you create an enclosed tube, linked up with "specialized rails" and an enclosed train/minecart thing(with a semi streamlined look). It would probably also have to be linked to some sort of steam storage every x amount of blocks to continue to power it. I'd also suggest it to be wickedly fast. Like Speed 7-10 kinda range of fast.
Basically just a tube being fired off super fast from the force of steam inside a vacum. Except it would have to be a semi-dangerous thing, as in if you don't make precautions to slow it down, the impact will be.... messy.
