I also just noticed that multimc has an option that says import from ftb launcher in the top left dropdown menu.

I found the solution for my problem. It turns out my network card needed a firmware update + new drivers. So odd upgraded drivers from 6.0 to 6.1+firmware update. Using Bigfoot Killer integrated lan on a Gigabyte G1.Guerella motherboard.
