I know there are multiple ways of doing this in the Monster pack, but the OpenBlocks fans aren't good enough and I don't want to get into RotaryCraft just yet. So what should I use?
Mobs can't spawn on either of those things. How about the conveyor belts from minefactory reloaded? Those are a really nice method for it, That is usually what I use when I need to transport mobs around
Another possible extremely vanilla way of doing it is minecarts on tracks.
Mobs can't spawn on either of those things.
What means of spawning are you using that requires a floor? Normal dark room or what?Mobs can't spawn on either of those things.
isint that open blocks?XU(?) conveyor belts can have mobs spawn on them. It's the one that looks like tracks.
A very large room with cursed earth flooring. What means of spawning are you using that requires a floor? Normal dark room or what?
Why not just use an mfr grinder?A very large room with cursed earth flooring.
Yeah my thought exactly. The Grinder have pretty much the same range as any pushing/pulling means you can find, so might as well just kill them on the spot. If the room is more than 10 blocks across, you could just make a pillar in the middle with the grinder(s) embedded. Why not just use an mfr grinder?

I would have to use over 300 MFR Grinders. Why not just use an mfr grinder?
I would have to use over 300 MFR Grinders.
Unless you have a 2400x2400 block room, I doubt you'd need 10% of that many grinders.I would have to use over 300 MFR Grinders.
No range upgrade in grinderJust alternate rows of MFR conveyor and spawning location.
You know theres range upgrades right?
Tell me exactly, how do I put the range upgrades in a grinder?Just alternate rows of MFR conveyor and spawning location.
You know theres range upgrades right?
Did you read anything other than the title?http://rotarycraft.wikia.com/wiki/Fan
or
http://wiki.feed-the-beast.com/Fan_(OpenBlocks) Are my suggestions. Rotarycraft fan is much MUCH better than the Openblocks one, but the openblocks one requires less know-how.
