Blaze rods seem pretty easy to get now, at least if you've got thaumcraft. I built an infernal furnace in a room with a low roof, and just kept breaking a block in it. This causes a blaze to spawn inside of the structure, and he's incapable of escaping as you kill him. All you have to do to reset it is get another bucket of lava, put back the block you broke, then use the wand again. I got all the rods I needed for a full set of alembics in around five minutes.

Neat trick Toraxa. As far as the durability on minium stones goes: autocrafting table next to a chest, autocrafting table set to make blaze rods, 2nd minium stone and blaze powder in the chest. add an extraction method of your choice to the autocrafting table. voila, infinite conversions. Now your infinite power can be fully automated. I haven't tested this in 1.4.6 mindcrack, but it worked just fine in 1.4.6 magic world.

Use EE to make obsidian from 2 logs (broken as hell) to make it even more exploity :)

I like, but getting a Blaze Soulshard spawner to level 4 and just having a blaze farm in the overworld is almost as easy with the XP possibility as a bonus effect.. that's why I LOVE this pack, so many options to get things.

Oil to refinery, and Lava from the end.. I'm likely to do a enderchest/transposer set up this time around for lava (magmatic engine in the end for the transposer, solar cell / electrical engine or RP engine for oil) as I think the myst craft portal / railcraft set up I had last time lagged up the area a bunch especially when it was spamming the nether for more lava.

I dirted out most of my factory yesterday.. now its time to get all the rigging to fill all the tanks I want (not to mention the deathstar amount of iron I need for those tanks) :) But first, my thaumcraft tower which requires some serious basalt farming. (can you wand of equal trade basalt and cobble?)

Question on RP Pumps before I make one and find out it won't work! Can you pump from the pump into a transposer, BC Tank or Railcraft tank? And if I understand correctly if I place the input grate in contact with a source block it will seek out source blocks attached to that block and continue sucking until they're all drained, correct? Is there a range limit, chunk limit etc?

Getting a blaze souldshard spawner and the infernal furnace trick are both pretty nifty ideas, though the major point of going cinderpod+minium+pulverizer is that you don't have to see a single blaze. Though you do have to do a bunch of mobkilling for the minium shards, but spending a few minutes camping a spawner killing zombies isn't all that hard (I certainly find it preferable to blazes).

I'd forgotten about logs to obsidian (I haven't paid a ton of attention to the EE3 recipes yet) but I seem to have more lava available than logs right now (I'm burning most of my wood to charcoal since my oil well/enderchest/refinery system isn't quite done yet).

I wouldn't call the minium stone "unreliable". Making half a stack of blaze rods from just 2 powder didn't put much of a dent in it, and I think I've already got enough minium shards stored up for a second one when I finally need it.

Forget all that. Get a tier 5 Blaze spawner going, a simple pit, water, and redpower2.

No effort for infinite blaze rods WITHOUT even looking at anything EE has to offer. Eloraam did something like that on Forgecraft for both blazes AND enderman (quicksand at enderman head height). You do not necessarily need EE3 to get superior supply chains. In this case, EE is merely an early-game approach! :p

Yes, EE is the early game approach. The tier 5 blaze spawner is obviously the proper way to do it a little later. At my current stage of the game, it's not worth making a soul forge and hunting down 5 blaze spawners just to make a few ender chests.
