/op in console is not working.how can I make myself an op?

you have to do it over the server console and tipe /op name or alternative you go into the ops.json and write something like

the uuid is the same as your playerdat(inventory)

If it's SSP (single play) "Open to LAN" with cheats enabled and then /gamemode will work /gamemode s/c (s=survival, c=creative) or use NEI to enter cheat mode etc.

got it working replaced the ops.json file with an ops regular file with my character name in it from an old 1.6.4server and guess what it worked.
