Does FTB support custom skins?

Roadblocks in the code I think.
Dunno, the game doesn't know how to handle transparency I don't think so it just fills it in with tint 0 0 0.
I need some serious help. How do you upload skins for the BronyModPack? I've tried using the Vanilla skin uploader but it keeps using my pony skin from back when there was the HD Skin Uploader. I'm not exactly sure what's wrong but I can't figure out how to change it. 
Actually its Sort of. No you can not have anything transparent on the body level as stated it will show up black. But the rest of the skin parts can have transparent bits. Realize these are shared with armor layers. So say you can not have a transparent head. But the head has a 'helmet' layer on the skin.png and that can have transparent bits and is how some of the fancy hairs are done. But as soon as you plop on a helmet parts of that layer get replaced by the helmet. Also you can have no semi transparent parts anywhere its all or nothing with transparency.
Mine is a combination. Way back when I was doing my first LP (back in 2010, yeesh) I had a Tron skin. One of my viewers decided to make me a custom skin based off of that and an actual picture of me. My avatar is a rough idea what it looks like.

Somehow I screwed up with ftb... first I couldn't logg in to play FTBInfinity (1.7.10) thus I migrated my pretty old minecraft account over to Mojang and edited the profil in the ftb launcher. That fixed the problem but know a couple of months later I'd like to change my skin for FTBBeyond (1.10.2) but it's not carried over...
Does someone know why? The skin is displayed correctly with vanilla.
