I was just wondering the other day if this mod Recipe Remover (http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic...s-v126-and-recipe-remover-v11-updated-122013/) could be seen by some mod devs are breaking there copyright. Such as the Computer Craft mods copyright Listed below.

I also give permission for ComputerCraft to be included in any and all mod packs, provided that the ComputerCraft files are included completely unmodified.

What do you guys think?

Completely a non-issue. Mod files aren't touched, only values in the recipe hashmap contained in memory.

Yeah, this is analogous to reading a book out loud and whimsically replacing the names of the characters with the names of your friends. The author of the book can't take action against you because you aren't changing the product.

minecraft logic: the creator of the game doesn't give a single f*** about people pirating his game that he worked for it a long time and he gets paid for it... meanwhile a random person on the internet does a mod for free and as a hobby and expects to get credit/full copyright like the internet was a court.
