Corrupted world?

This is a copy paste of a ticket I submitted, I thought someone here might be able to help while I wait for a response on the support site.

I had a computer crash and I'm now unable to load my world save.
I believe the crash was unrelated to FTB and due to a problem with my graphics card.

Ultimate v1.1.2
Windows 7 64bit
Java version 7, update 21

Is there any way to recover my save?

The minecraft crash report looks to be related to the Wireless Redstone mod. Can't make head or tails of the console log though.
Try disabling Wireless Redstone and playing your save, if not try copying your save. And if all fails, try and use McEdit to take the best part of your world out into a new world.

I disabled all three Wireless Redstone related mods (I wasn't sure which one was the relevant here) through the menu and was able to enter my world. Hurray!

However, when I re-enable them, the same things happen. I thought that when I disabled them, all items created by that mod would be destroyed and the problem would cease, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
Any advice as to what I can do now to re-enable Wireless Redstone?

Well, you could remove with McEdit all blocks with the ID's that Wireless Redstone uses. That would destroy all wireless redstone you already setup. But I don't know if the problem is with your mod.jar, the actual blocks, or just the mod itself.

I don't mind destroying my wireless redstone, I've only used it in very few places and I'll just add it again in creative.

There is. Disable the mod (WR-CBE) temporarily, load the world, save and quit the world, enable the mod again.

That's what I did. Wehn I re-enable the mod, the problem persists

Try reinstalling just Wireless Redstone, not a force update. It could be a bug in the mod that only applies to you somehow.

^ Btw, now that I checked the logs, doesn't it look more like not a problem with the items from WR-CBE, but instead the state of the world related to WR-CBE? Since his comp crashed, it prolly happened during a save -> corrupted save -> I unno

No change. I even entered my world again after manually deleting wireless redstone, but once reinstalled the error pops back and I can't load the world

Try making a new world and placing Wireless Redstone blocks.

That works fine, I don't think it's a general problem with the mod

Or did you say earlier that when you disabled the mod the world worked?
Your case is very unique and as you can see, I'm just guessing as I don't have the problem myself.

Yeah, works perfectly fine then. I'd just rather like to be able to play with wireless redstone.

I think I did it!

It was kind of a hack job, but since it was a backup anyway, I deleted the whole RedstoneEther folder in my world save. Solved it
