Vanilla cobble gen with a ME transition plane is a little bit quicker than ingneous extruders but will take more space, could look pretty cool with huge banks of them

You'd be better off tiling those horizontally,and using a quarry.

the question is though, is it at least 4x quicker? Because if it's not the extruders are still better...you can fit 4 extruders in the same space.

Another reason why I miss xycraft. The fabricators are perfect for the crafting of octo cobble and the water block would make more compact conventional cobblegens.
