Can't Connect? HELP!?!

Sorry if there has already been a thread like this, I couldn't find one...

So my friend and I have been playing on FTB Ultimate server he started. It is port-forwarded, and It works fine for everyone but me (There are others members as well). Whenever he launches the FTB server, it wont show up in my list and if I try to connect it just times out. However (and this is the weird part) if he launches his vanilla server (port-forwarded as well on the same port) It will show up on my vanilla AND FTB server lists, but in FTB it will have 1.5.2 (the version it's on) on it. I am on windows 7 64-bit and use norton security. Any ideas why/how to fix it?

No, YOUR console log.
I need to rule out errors with your set up before I move to server side problems.

Here is My log (in debug mode) After following the steps on the first link, I re-downloaded it, closed it, and re-launched it. I also tried creating a new world.

Though probably unrelated, you have another issue.

Update to java 7 update 21 x64 edition and also increase the amount of ram your giving to ftb by going to the options and adjusting the slider.

Ihave updated my java and allocated 1.75 GB of ram to FTB (I have 6GB total, 5.83 usable). Is that enough?

Try going with 2. You need to uninstall the old Java updated from your Programs List.

I comepletely delted and re-installed java, and gave FTB 2.25 GB. Any Idea about the server connection problems though?

on your internet problem. try disabling your firewall while you play.

It's all good. Yesterday I told someone to add more RAM, and they came back with "I'm not buying more RAM" lol
