So basically after thinking it through, i finally decided to come and play some Unhinged, but now i have no clue what to do, how to get a basic power system, and i was thinking about coming here and seeing if any of you guys can give me some tips or a guide on how to get started in unhinged, and maybe getting a decent early game power system up.

Note, im not an expert on gregtech, i literally just started a few hours ago

Have you played Unleashed or any other modpack before?
Anyway, I recommend using the following system: Aqueous Accumulator-Hobbyist's Steam Engine-TE machines until you have enough materials to start making GT recipes (which are downright painful). Also, get a bunch of Coke Ovens set up ASAP (they're gonna be useful) - I'd say 4. After that, make an MFE, a LV-Transformer, a pair of generators and the following set of machines: Compressor, Extractor, Plate Bending and whatever you can use to stop using GT tools. Get a fuckton of almost everything and build an Industrial Blast Furnace. Make the portal to the Nether. Go to the Nether, get a fuckton of Glowstone (you should get some Lapis in the overworld) and make the Industrial Grinder and the Industrial Centrifuge. After that, it's better to get a more indepth guide, because I just know the basics.

After that, an Induction Smelter, a Magma Crucible, an Igneous Extruder (with an Aqueous Accumulator, you can mass produce smooth stone) and a Liquid Transposer. That way you can create a Redstone Energy Cell and Energy Conduits (which are really good at storing MJ and distributing it). Also, you should get a solid fueled boiler setup (preferentiably a 12LP boiler - it won't cost a lot) and then power your TE machines with it (it will be a total of 6 Commercial Steam Engines). At that point, you should get a few more Pulverizers/Powered Furnaces (preferentiably you should have 3) and process all your ores with it. To power the boiler, I reccommend an MFR treefarm using a 2x2 jungle tree as its plant (a planter can plant in a 3x3 with it at the middle, and a harvester can harvest in a 3x3 in the front of it) connected to a powered furnace to turn that into charcoal.

Yes, fir saplings.
To be honest, that or an insane amount of bee breeding. While Oak is decent, it won't be as effective.

There's a thread called "Ask a simple question, get a simple awnser".
I think you should use it.
