Bedrock Axe is definitely my favourite. Normally I make a TiC Lumber Axe and call it "Gaia's Bane"... then one day, I discovered bedrock and how very, very afraid Gaia should be
Only tree I've never been game/stupid enough to try was a Sacred Rubber, I know the TwiFor Oaks and Natura Redwoods cannot withstand the awesomeness that is contained within such an axe. Your inventory, on the other hand...
Doesn't the bedrock axe handle the server killer? I thought Reika posted a vid of it last year. If memory serves.Sacred... is that the big one, or the covers-an-8-chunk-radius one? The one without the enchantment glow is big, but only about as big as a natura redwood. The "enchanted" version is the server killer... I am so glad I had wrath fire still when I tried that on my server (No, the mfr harvester did NOT work on it at the time. No idea why)
why is that better? I mean, removing the entities from the world is clearly going to save your sanity a bit, but I thought the bedrock axe would still be all around faster because it now operates over time, similar to the woodcutter (instead of trying to do everything instantly) and clumps the dropped entities (so your computer doesn't catch fire)You'd want to use the woodcutter for that- it'll take the tree 1 block at a time and deposit the items in a chest.
Out of curiousity, would it bother you less if they were stored in something like a filing cabinet? At least then they'd be all in the same chest.Yea, guess I'll just have to ignore them when I see them. Hate leaving an area "uncleared" is all, but that's just me being silly. Ty
It can cut down any size tree you put to it....assuming your computer can handle the drops.Doesn't the bedrock axe handle the server killer? I thought Reika posted a vid of it last year. If memory serves.
Not all recipes take all types equally.Might it be possible to have a config option to condense all the fluorite colours into a single item? I've found they become a massive inventory hog during early-game mining. Afaik they're all used interchangeably in the recipes, so I don't think this would cause any issues.. feel free to correct me, of course.
In addition to that, my point was that, as I recall it, you optimized the process so that more computers would be likely to handle the drops. It can cut down any size tree you put to it....assuming your computer can handle the drops.
