1.4.7 of the SC farm does not have a nerf and gives you all the logs. No solar or iron is needed. With 1.5.2, you now get planks and sticks when you chop down a tree instead of all logs. This reduces the amount of usable wood from each tree. Plus, you now have to repair the cutting tool periodically. Only the galgdorian tools do not need to be repaired.
