Automatic sheep farm

I'm looking for a way to collect wool automatically from sheep with out killing them. I have in the past used red power transposers and pneumatic tubes but with out that option I'm looking for something else. Any suggestions?

Transposers could shear sheep?

The easiest way would be a Rancher from MFR.

I used transposers to pick up the wool, dispenser and shears is what I used to shear them.

MFR rancher definitely the easiest option.
If you don't have MFR, then I have in the past used a turtle with shears. Just leave it stationary and shear any sheep wandering past.

Or use Botania's drum of the gathering together with a redstone mana spreader and a hopperhock

My rancher has been running non-stop for the last 2 days with just 3 sheep in it's 5x5 pen, and I've got almost a full barrel of wool.

So I don't think it exists anymore. Least I haven't come across it!

Liquid force was cool, back in "the day". I seem to remember Reika had a lot of success with it. Unfortunately, Dartcraft isn't updated for 1.7 yet, so there's no way to instantly regrow wool; not that it's necessary, though. Just sayin'.

According to Direwolf in his "Let's Play" episode today this was fixed in v.1.0.2, which he had, at the time the vid was made, just updated his series to.

Now if they can only figure out what causes newly generated worlds to crash on opening, even though you can restart FtB, load and use them without issue...
