Is there a section we can post in to look for a server? For example I'm looking for a Monster server with Carpenter Blocks and Ex Nihilo installed.

With 51k eggs, subtle is no longer an option. If you dump all of those in someone's base, you will get about 6500 chickens, which will make whatever area you dump them in not only lag-a-licious, but painful to the ears.
So it is even better!

I don't think many people would put sound mufflers in their base, as generally people like hearing what is around them, especially if it is a creeper. Besides, you can always turn off the sound in game. The lag alone would be horrendous. I mean, has anyone ever tested 6.5 k entities on a server?

I have. It was not intentional. I may have left over a dozen tier 5 shards running overnight by mistake. This is was back in the early days of 1.4.7 when I was coming back from a long break between 1.2.5 and 1.4.7. I sort of mixed up some wireless redstone frequencies. Let me assure you though, the treefarm was not turned on overnight :p

I've tested a couple hundred shoved into a small space and that alone was sufficient to lag the server to near-unplayability. It took me about an hour to get over to the Breeder/Grinder and flip the switch.

Protip, no matter how few animals you THINK it's going to result in, never leave an auto-breeder on when you're not. I called it the Mooshroompocalypse, because for some reason I thought that was funny.

Dear god, I know what you mean. I currently have 4 witch auto spawners +1 - 2 ghast spawners running, the mob essence needed to keep that thing running is absolutely insane is almost not worth using. (using ghast tears and liquid glowstone to fuel some reactant dynamos)

I currently have an entire natura Redwood tree (the huge one that requires like 7x7 block of saplings) dedicated to cursed earth farms. Causing huge amounts of lag. Kinda fun though.

Actually, the breeder cuts out when there are ten "subjects" in range by default. The catch is that if you move them elsewhere it keeps going.(and why would you leave all that delicious steak/mushroom soup sitting in one small room?)

It was a little fenced in area, just supposed to be temporary; I needed some pink slime. The problem was that it was a relatively large area with a breeder at each end, it was chunkloaded, and I left it for the night still partly loaded with wheat.

Question:
Is there a way I can make a wireless redstone set-up look mystical? (Need to be able to toggle it on and off)
Or am I reduced to hiding it underneath the floor and attempting to make levers look mystical?

Golems and trapped chests, maybe? Use a toggle latch to toggle on/off.

But yeah, this applies only to the "hiding it under the floor" technique. You can go a step further with magical mirrors and hand-held magical mirrors, though.

Can anyone with a logistics pipes system take a picture of there rooms? I'm rather interested in how you guys decorate. Needing some inspiration here.
