I think you’re right about the DE crystals - if memory serves, the idea is that “Input” is to input power into the energy network, and output is vice versa.OK, I have a handful of immersive engineering lightning rods and they're getting struck faster than they can discharge the power. Anyone know of something that will pull the power out besides HV connectors? Something faster than 4k per tick.
I tried DE crystals, but I couldn't get them to work. . Or I did it wrong, I'm pretty sure "input' and 'output' are backwards or something.
Any ideas of things to try?

Flux ducts should work. I think Tier 3 is what you need for more than 4k.
Does a basic Thermal Expansion item enchanted with Holding (such as a cache or reservoir) retain its enchantment when upgraded to a higher tier?
That’s good enough for me to try it, cheersIt should. I can't guarantee it for 1.12, as I'm lagging behind the curve, but it has worked (similar to keeping the energy stored within) in previous versions.
Assuming the capacitor I/O isn't a limiting factor itself (which it shouldn't be) I think this is a good idea. This might sound daft, but: if you have a capacitor in direct contact, with the touching side set to input and all others set to output, could you connect an HV connector to each of the other sides and hook up to an upgraded TE energy cube in the same way, then flux duct out from there?Does it have somewhere to go? Alternately, they might pull better from a Capacitor, rather than direct from the block. (I assumed there was no issue connecting in 1.10, but that might be an issue. Though no, as far as I'm aware Servos shouldn't be necessary.)
I honestly haven't worked out even what to use Chaos Nodes for, much less how to move them. Actually Additions restorer?
External Storage or in AE- Storage BusAlso, Shneeky clued me in to a block for refined storage that lets it connect to something like storage drawers and act like it's part of the mesh. But I can't find that anywhere. The only thing I could find was the interface block, but that's not quite the same. I really just want to hook up some compacting drawers.
feed me(craft with) 2 pieces of a nether star like the 2 tiny bits used to make me in the first place is what the mover wants to be rechargedI can't find this anywhere. I have a Silent's Gems Chaos Node Mover, but once you use it, it needs to be repaired in order to move another one. I want to make a Zelda-like fairy fountain out of them. How do I repair this thing?
(also don't know how to/if you can repair chaos orbs, but I have a perfect one now so I am less concerned about that)
