OK, I have a handful of immersive engineering lightning rods and they're getting struck faster than they can discharge the power. Anyone know of something that will pull the power out besides HV connectors? Something faster than 4k per tick.

I tried DE crystals, but I couldn't get them to work. . Or I did it wrong, I'm pretty sure "input' and 'output' are backwards or something.

Any ideas of things to try?
I think you’re right about the DE crystals - if memory serves, the idea is that “Input” is to input power into the energy network, and output is vice versa.

Flux ducts should work. I think Tier 3 is what you need for more than 4k.

Cryostabilized Fluxducts have no throughput limits. That's the fastest way to move massive power, although be mindful that many storage options have limited input rates which can be troublesome.

Does a basic Thermal Expansion item enchanted with Holding (such as a cache or reservoir) retain its enchantment when upgraded to a higher tier?

It should. I can't guarantee it for 1.12, as I'm lagging behind the curve, but it has worked (similar to keeping the energy stored within) in previous versions.

You're not lagging behind the curve. You're correctly letting the rest of the world beta test stuff for you :p

1.12 is close, IMO, but not quite done cookin'

All hail 1.10.2

That’s good enough for me to try it, cheers :)

Plus, books of Holding aren’t too expensive in an Arcane Ensorcellator so I won’t waste all that much by trying

OK, I'm trying this Flux ducts now. Quick question before I give up forever, because they're not wiring either, is there something like a servo for these that controls the flow or something by any chance?

It looks like it's recognizing it as a power connection because it "connects" to the plugs, its not pulling anything out of it.

Does it have somewhere to go? Alternately, they might pull better from a Capacitor, rather than direct from the block. (I assumed there was no issue connecting in 1.10, but that might be an issue. Though no, as far as I'm aware Servos shouldn't be necessary.)

Assuming the capacitor I/O isn't a limiting factor itself (which it shouldn't be) I think this is a good idea. This might sound daft, but: if you have a capacitor in direct contact, with the touching side set to input and all others set to output, could you connect an HV connector to each of the other sides and hook up to an upgraded TE energy cube in the same way, then flux duct out from there?

It did have somewhere to go. A vibrant capacitor.

But, that's one thing I never tried, a capacitor directly on the plug. That'll pretty much be my last hope. Otherwise, I'll just have to "settle" with 80k per tick.

Are there any PO2 Kappa letsplays/playthroughs that were done after the uranium/yellorium oredict was nerfed? (They're not ordicted together anymore in 2.3.0, I think it was a few versions back but it was long after most people finished their playthroughs. Curiously, if set only to magneticraft uranium ore, the digital miner still collects yellorite ore as well.)

I can't find this anywhere. I have a Silent's Gems Chaos Node Mover, but once you use it, it needs to be repaired in order to move another one. I want to make a Zelda-like fairy fountain out of them. How do I repair this thing?

(also don't know how to/if you can repair chaos orbs, but I have a perfect one now so I am less concerned about that)

I honestly haven't worked out even what to use Chaos Nodes for, much less how to move them. Actually Additions restorer?

It's not a regular repair bar, the icon jut gets a crack in it and it says in the description it can't be used again until it's repaired. I tried everything I can think of that repairs and I tried putting in my chaos alter, nothing did anything.

As for the chaos nodes, they're actually pretty good to have at a base. They will repair your equipped (and held?) items, fill your hunger bar and fill up your chaos (if you haven't explored deeply into SG, you can hold a LOT more chaos than that little bar above your hunger bar. You can fill up an orb you keep on you that will keep filling that bar up while you're out and about, effectively making the magic effects from the weapons viable killing machines).

But due to their resemblance to fairies in the N64 Zelda games, I wanted to grab about 8 of them and make a little fairy fountain or something. Or, even if I don't do that, the one I DID move is right in the middle of where my elevator is going to go, so It's gotta go either way.

Also, Shneeky clued me in to a block for refined storage that lets it connect to something like storage drawers and act like it's part of the mesh. But I can't find that anywhere. The only thing I could find was the interface block, but that's not quite the same. I really just want to hook up some compacting drawers.

feed me(craft with) 2 pieces of a nether star like the 2 tiny bits used to make me in the first place is what the mover wants to be recharged

reminder capactor banks from ender io multiblock for higher stats across the board (add the stats of the bank , must be same tier )
