So I've had Mekanism (and some of its friends) in my own modpack for a couple of days now, and I thought I'd report some general observations. Especially since the mod author is... here, so to speak. :)

First off, I like the general feel of it. It satisfies the need for "science-y" content as far as I'm concerned. And in terms of content, I would also say that there is plenty of it. Continuing along with Things-That-Have-Already-Been-Said... some docs/outline would be nice. I'm not a fan of video spotlights myself. Maybe it'll even inspire me to write a guide, who knows.

Now, on to performance... I notice that when I have a small cluster of mekanism machines running simultaneously, I'm getting sporadic lag bursts. Looking at my F3 stats, my FPS is typically hovering just below 120, and when I get these lag spikes, it drops to the 30-ish range. That's the number reported, but in fact it's actually _freezing_ for a brief moment each time there's a spike. I also notice memory is 100% allocated. I dont know if that helps at all. I can provide more detailed info if required, but frankly, it's not hard to replicate my setup.

One advanced solar gen, a crusher, a purifier, an enricher, an infuser and a smelter. Using universal cable (just switched over to that, was using insulated copper cable before, till I did a test on a separate world and realised how lossy it is).

I've just tried doubling the memory (min/max) allocated to MC and will see if it has an effect on the lagometer.

Other than that, as I said, I like it. :)
