Xbony just got pwned :p

Anyway, I think of three things when it comes to (most) tech mods: power gen, power transfer, and power use.

Which one sprawls?

Depends on the mod you are using... *coughRotaryCraft*

TBH, I think the spraw is split between transfer and use. You have to have room to place the machine/multiblock and you have to power them somehow.

OOOOOH!!! Pandas!!!!

Maybe make the lines (power transfer lines/pipes/tubes/pandas) work like vanilla redstone, and can only go so far without getting a "signal boost"?

But not like a repeater, make it a block, or maybe even a multiblock depending on how much power you are transferring.

That would mean that people would keep their designs compact and simple.

I like the idea (especially for 1.8 where lag will be less of an issue) of using:

Hopper/redstone -like mechanics
Water-like mechanics

Restraint and constraint creates design

"Drama" Threads are not allowed.

Recent Events discussions are carried on over in the 'Recent Events Thread" http://forum.feed-the-beast.com/threads/recent-events-discussion-red-thread.45220/

Keep discussions of this nature to that thread. Having multiple locations for the latest news is confusing to forum goers. And we certainly do not need any " .... new method of dealing with modded MC drama"

Our rule is pretty simple: Leave drama on Reddit and Twitter.

Apparently y'all forgot the rules while I was off at convention. I'll be nice and not go through this thread and warn/time out every rule breaker.
