Am unable to launch a server on 1.1.1, have uninstalled and reinstalled but get this each time:

In the first case, something seems to be wrong with your launcher.
Forge cannot find a class belonging to the launcher (maybe a Multicraft thing?).
In the second case, your installation seems to be incomplete.
It seems to be missing the log4j library. I checked, and for me it's part of the default set of libraries.

Have you tried running the server locally, just to test?

I ran the server locally and it worked, then I took those files and uploaded them and the server worked as well strangely enough.

Well at least you got it to work :)

I have another few issues I want to mention.
1. My sigil of swimming crashes my game after enabling it. It didn't in the previous version. I may get a crash log of it and look into it at some point.
2. Deleting a group containing a group in Steve's Factory Manager crashes the game (but after a restart the operation has completed successfully).
I couldn't find a bug tracker for this mod and vswe seems kind of inactive.

And finally a warning: Do not combine Steve's Factory Manager with Thermal Expansion caches. I wanted to autocraft using resources from a cache and it stopped after a random number of iterations, and ended up deleting some of my items. My workaround was to use a JABBA barrel instead of the cache. I have a setup in my test world to reproduce this, but no way to report the problem. Furthermore, I don't know if it's caused by the main mod or the Addons mod.

@Gideonseymour, you got my hopes up with a Dark Trilogy update but after seeing the Horizons teaser I know you've been busy. Any news on the update front? Thanks again for your hard work.

So I've just updated my multiplayer server to 1.1.1 and it has changed ALL of the microblocks (regardless of their previous state) into darkwood leaves, I have used ALOT of microblocks in and around my buildings.

Please tell me there's an easy fix.

I have never seen this happen. I have to say I don't think I had any microblocks in my world when I updated, so I don't know if it's a common problem.
Forge multiparts are stored as NBT data, so in case the reason for the behavior is a change in format, reverting the update might work.
Otherwise, I hope you have backups ^_^

In any case, I found this bug report. Seems like starting the server causes the problem for this person.
I would check if the behavior is the same for you (place a new micropart, restart and see if it changes), manually update the libraries mentioned in the bug report, see if it's still the case and if so, post a bug report.
Apart from helping others with this issue, you may get some instructions on how to fix it.

Another thing you could do is see if you get any errors from Forge Multipart or CodeChicken{Core,Lib} during startup.

Hi, I just tried to set up 1.1.1 server on a craftserve.com
and that's happened.

http://justpaste.it/lhr7
http://ctrlv.it/id/1154/1243724905

Can anybody help me?
Sorry to say, but from the logs nothing seems wrong. It seems to start loading correctly and then shut down correctly.
What triggered this shutdown is unclear...
I may be missing something though.
Have you tried another server with them?

By the way Gideon, Mob Dismemberment should only be in client (ran across the warning while looking at the log).

EDIT: Lol, ninja'd by the man himself :)

The update is on it's way - I've been more than a little busy with Horizons. Had to basically remake the pack with only two weeks into release :p

Sorry for the long reply, on closer inspection I realised that the only microparts affected by this hard previously been made out of chiseled blocks as I have microblocks elsewhere, made from £coloured stone black frequency" for instance that have not been affected by this, does this shed any further light?

I have tried restarting the server and that does not seem to revert the problem.

I have since made microblocks out of chisel wood panels, and I have not had any issues so far...
I have no idea what caused this problem for you unfortunately.

Since conduits and fluxducts are disabled, what are we supposed to use to conduct large amounts of power. (I do not want to go anywhere near IC2)

I think if you don't want to touch IC2 at all you are using the wrong pack.
That being said, using IC2 power cables on RF machines does not work nicely at all (I tried in my test world).
I'm still using the EIO conduits I made before the change.
The thread contains info on how to re-enable the other power transmitters.
In the next version of the pack, they may be reenabled, but require a QED.

Off the top of my head:
  • Updated basically everything
  • Added AgriCraft
  • Added Blood Magic addons
  • Added ThaumCraft addons
  • Added Thermal Expansion addons
  • Added Thermal Dynamics
  • Removed TheTfoxMod, added GideonseymourMod
  • Removed Soul Shards: Reborn, added Soul Shards: The Old Ways
  • Added Steve's Addons
  • Probably something else I forgot
  • Added Mana-infused ore to ore generation, Ore dicted mana infused to Manasteel and vice versa
  • Lots of recipe tweaks
  • Enet Bridge
  • Remove energy conduits and fluxducts

What was the reason to remove the conduits?
They are one of the best options when it comes to running clean pipes. Why not just change the recipe if you think they were too easy to make....

@Gideonseymour Any plans to re-enable them in the future?
