I just created an account to say that I'm enjoying Technofirma craft an immeasurable amount. I would also like to suggest Zan's Minimap Mod (VoxelMap). It's a little more user-friendly than what Map Writer(?) is. MamiyaOtaru doesn't mention anything about permissions to use the mod in mod packs, though. Thanks for your hard work, kev12east! I look forward to the updates to come!

About Resonant Induction. I agree that the per-industrial module would be perfect for TFC. A while back I added the module to a private modpack and added the ores needed to TFCOre.cfg. I abandoned the project because I kept getting crashes. At the time I didn't know how to understand crash reports, or the consequences of over loading ore generation in TFC. I had added other mods as well, so I don't if Resonant Induction was the cause of the crashes. Unfortunately I don't have any of that information. I haven't worked with Mod or mine tweaker. Is it posible to change Resonant's recipes to use TFC ores? Maybe some of the ores that TFC presently doesn't have a use for?

Glad you like it :). I'll look into including both JoruneyMap and Voxel Map in the next update. They will both be disabled by default, but they could be enabled.

Sadly, it is not. I would love to add it, but until support for RI is added, I can't do anything about it.

Hello Kev, I've stumbled across this modpack (avid TFC player here, but I've run into an issue starting your modpack. My game hangs at "starting game" with

"[Client thread/ERROR] [LaunchWrapper/]: The jar file C:\Games\FTB\libraries\net\java\jinput\jinput\2.0.5\jinput-2.0.5.jar has a security seal for path net.java.games.input, but that path is defined and not secure"

displayed on the launcher. It does not progress after 15 minutes of waiting, and I've a fairly high spec machine.

I usually try and do as much troubleshooting as I'm capable of, and googling the "security path" error always comes back to anything with liteloader. I've posted a question on the liteloader forum, but they're less than helpful... I don't generate a crash log, therefore I'm not crashing, thus being unworthy of help apparently.

Here's my log:

http://paste.feed-the-beast.com/view/a3d7a4d8

Any thoughts? What mods would I lose if I just got rid of liteloader?

If you remove liteloader, you will lose WorldEditCUI and anything else that ends in .liteloader. I've never seen this before, so I wouldn't know. You can all ways try and run it with MultiMC, the client I use to build/play the pack.

I actually tried that in the intervening time, still crashes. Basically anything with liteloader doesn't work for me, specifically matmos, which sucks, as I used to love that mod.

Been having a blast playing this pack. You have done a wonderful job with it!

I had a few suggestions. Not any big issues, I can sort them out myself, but just ideas if that is cool.

I noticed the pack resets the video settings each update so I assume these are something set by the pack? If so it would be cool to have mipmap set to max for the FPS boost. It is quite a dramatic boost. Also VSync on would be cool.

Electrical Age resin. Is it intended to use the whole hammer each craft? That seems a bit excessive. MInetweaker has a thing for tool durability that might help sort that out.

I'm not sure if anyone else has suggested this, but can you please disable the increase in block hardness that Iguana Tweaks adds? It already takes enough time to mine as it is, and it's honestly really annoying having to mine for longer(along with chopping down trees).

I disabled mipmapping due to the funky things it does to TFC dried grass. You can actually place resin collectors on a tree and gain resin, using the crafting recipe is just a stop-gap solution to avoid waiting.

Actually, Iguana Tweaks isn't the cause of that. TFC does all of that already, Igauna teaks has no affect on it.

Also seems to turn all of the volume way down, and the difficulty to peaceful...

I've actually tested it, Iguana Tweaks is actually making the blocks harder. Plus, there's a config option in Iguana Tweaks for it http://prntscr.com/6nfs2j
Hmm...last time I tested this, it did nothing. Oh well, things change, I'll disable it.

You guys play with my settings, so it always ends up resetting when it updates.

I will be updating in no more than 2 weeks, as per Fastcraft permissions. It will either be 2.9.0 or 2.8.1, depending on how fast I work.

Decided that the time was right to resurrect my old Twitter account, from now on I will be posting update spoilers/some extra info on there, faster than coming onto FTB Forums and doing it, I will also be able to avoid increasing web page load times as you won't have to load sceenshots on here anymore when coming for help. Already posted the first spoiler on there :)
