Pack is updated have fun with the new ton of mods dropped on ya head!
Do you have an updated changelog? I'm getting odd errors with channels that are preventing connections, and I want to make sure I'm using the correct forge

I have a problem. I get a closedChannelException when trying to connect to ANY (including vanilla 1.7.10) servers. Why's that? (it didn't happen in 1.3.3)

Could that be my firewall? It doesn't make sense, I wouldn't think minecraft won't request internet access in a specific instance. Anyway, please fix this as soon as possible.

hmmmmm maybe opis?
Tried without that and Mobius, also tried without any of my additions. My symptoms appear to match Lirannl's.

However one thing I didn't consider is that it was happening on the client as well. Since I only play on my server, and single player seams to work

yeah single player should work but multiplayer someone is doing a bad thing which is closing the connection
