[1.7.10] Explora Experimentia (v1.4.4) (Not your average kitchen sink pack!) (138 mods and growing!)

    Welcome to Explora Experimentia!

    This is just your normal kitchen-sink pack, maybe a bit smaller.

    What's the difference then? Well, check the modlist.

    Whaaaa...? No TE? Ender IO? Botania?!

    Yes, this modpack does not, and will not include any of your familiar mods that you have been used to. It will challenge you to research and experiment with other mods. It is also fairly minetweaked to improved cross-mod interactions (i.e. You need this mod to progress on this other mod).
    (Just a side note, as of v1.1.0 I've added BuildCraft, but there will not be any quarries or engines other than Redstone Engine.)

    I actually sent an outdated zip version of my pack... now I have to get MediaFire to upload it all over again. :p

    And then I have the urge to add another mod... :p

    if you want a difrent mod for chunkloaders then normal, go with dimensional anchors. It even has more config options then chicken chunks. :p
    I like the mods but the fact that there are no computers kills me (if you know my base you know why). I may end up checking it out.

    Looking very cool. Used a few of the mods before but for the most part not really. Alot of the mods I recognize are one's I've wanted to get into but usually end up getting distracted by said familiar mods. So yeah very interesting going to give it a shot.

    Well, I actually have some experience with Clockwork Phase from that modpack by the Crash Landing guy, so this is a little familiar at least.

    I will be trying this later on this week... freaking work schedule always getting in the way.

    EDIT: After looking through the mod list, I can say I'm familiar with half of these things...

    A few are a bit... um OP but that's part of the fun. :D

    Well I love the idea (haven't used though) better boat. Clockwork Phase is pretty awesome. I haven't used it enough to say OP or not but either way from what I've used in it, it is very fun. I haven't used exchange orb but it feels like Equiv Exchange and therefore OP lol. There is just so much room for exploits in an exchange type mod that it's not even funny. I love EE3 but I only used it for mostly cosmetic blocks. I don't know how Orb fares so we will see.

    Practicalities... Ok so I could write a whole wall of text about this mod. I love this mod. That having been said it has one of the most efficient and powerful magnets I've seen. A few items are... well have the potential for abuse. The void Bucket comes to mind. I do love the tools and the smooth glowstone. Love the wither killer. A great and functional automation of wither star production. No that's not op given the investment into it.

    RFTools... I don't know that I'd include it in this pack simply because it's in DW20's pack and Horizons. Not to mention it's pretty OP considering if you can produce the RF you can have endless feilds of (insert rare resource here).

    Smooth bedrock FTW seriously I was disapointed that DW didn't include this in this version of his pack.

    Soul Shards: The old Ways... this mod is rediculously OP and I love it at the same time. I mean yes you have to craft the stuff and kill all the things... but have you seen the mob farm level 5 go?! OmG it's great. Still op

    Tails... I could do without it to be honest but that's just me. I know some people who love it. It's like the hats mod you can take it or leave it.

    Thanks for the feedback Psychicash :)

    Exchange Orb is just EE's Philosopher's Stone. I haven't tinkered around with it too much, so I haven't tweaked it much. I plan on using it to make getting decorative blocks from worldgen easier to get, and maybe some other things (like the iron to pearls thing)

    RFTools I plan to nerf it with some Avarita extreme crafting recipes, so there's that. I really only wanted it for the dimension building, and maybe some other things.

    I thinking of changing EssentialCraft3 next, so be prepared for some recipe changes.

    Tails is clientside and you can choose not to play with it. Only reason I added it is because I'm slightly furry, hence the avatar :)

    I plan to get some form of endgame item replicator, I heard QuantumFlux adds that in the new update, so be prepared for that :)

    Question, what is the honorary ore processing mod? Is there one? Does pneumaticraft have something I was unaware of? Or is there none at all? All the iron you need for pneumaticraft is kinda annoying to get without processing. Side note, I am kinda happy mekanism isn't treated as a non-mainstream mod. IMO its better than TE, EIO, and IC2 because it contains all the peripherals you need with those mods, plus even better things. At least I know about 1/5 of the mods here. Also I crashed when i was first loading it (if that was said in the description and I didnt see it i apologize). It was at the end of "initializing mods phase 1."

    Yes, there is a ore doubling block. Look for the refinery in Practicalities.

    Crashlog? Did you tamper with the pack, because last I recalled it worked fine on my computer.

    It's fine, and would that just be from the command log on the other window? (I mean the other window that can be set to stay open while minecraft runs.)
