How to get 20 bronze to get the upgrades though? The starting quests give me ingots, but I can't turn them into nuggets. I'll explore a bit more. I'm still in the bees basics quests, so it might be hiding later on in bee restaurant or something, not sure.

Ok, I have got it. Just breed bees a whole bunch and wait a lot. I should have expected that, and I'm totally OK with that. I look forward to the thrill of getting new bee types!!

Update: I got 3 damp combs from breeding Water Bees in an Industrial Apiary, instead of the regular ones I was using. So, problem solved with the damp combs, but I'll still need to continue this to get bronze for the centrifuge, etc, etc.

And by breeding, I also was thinking about the genetic things too from Gendustry. I have finished the quests in that section. :)

Also the smiley face looks like a stalker.

There are bees that produce Copper and Tin nuggets. If things haven't been seriously rearranged since I last played, that's in Chapter 4. I do recommend that you go through the 'tutorial' quests (if you haven't already, it's the branch that goes down the left side of Chapter 1). It's worth learning how to use the machines.

I ask because the log has an authentication request... I remember seeing it in a post in another spot ( I'll edit when I find it) with a similar log

That's the Yggdrasil bit, right? I admit - I'm still working on learning how to read the crashlogs. Sometimes something will jump out at me, so I keep trying.

Secondly - Right off the bat, it looks like you need to clean up your Java. Looks like you've got a Java 1.7 in there somewhere. Uninstalling old versions is recommended for security reasons.

If it's a new world, you lost nothing. The quest tells you how to get items.

If you mean your new world doesn't have ground, make a new one.

If this is a pre-existing world, click the world (but don't load), look under back-ups, and load a previous save.

I went through the process of making Endearing bees because NEI shows a 90% chance of enderium nuggets. But when I get them up and running there are no nuggets at all. Just Enderearing and mysterious combs. Endearing comes don't even make enderium they make drops that squeeze into liquid ender pearls. And the Mysterious combs only drop 10% of the time and it takes 25 of them to make 1 ender pearl. Where is the enderium?



If there isn't supposed to be enderium from Endearing Bees please fix it so it no longer shows as there in either the Beealizer or nor NEI.

You need to have your apiary set to the bee's preferred heat/humidity (tolerance doesn't matter). This is easiest to do with the industrial types.

Correct. Specialty products require heat/humidity/weather to be their preference. Nuggets are specialty.

It's an odd system.

Now, aside from tolerance, is there to modify actual preference?

Nope. That's hard-coded as I understand it. I don't think that weather/light is as much of an issue, though, just heat and humidity. But like I said, the industrial apiaries make it pretty easy, and there's a repeatable quest for getting the necessary upgrades. The Beealyzer should give you the data for what Endearing bees prefer - I vaguely remember it being cold and arid which would be a Winter upgrade. (Please double-check on that, though. It's been a while.)

So even though the bees will live and breed in the industrial apiary and produce the combs they won't produce the specialty item outside of their tolerance? But the apiary won't function if the bee is in the wrong environment.

That's confusing.

I may have explained poorly. The Endearing Bees prefer a Hot Arid climate. If you get their tolerance up, they'll breed quite happily in another climate, but won't produce their specialty. Once you have the apiary set to their preferred climate (Desert upgrade), they'll crank out those Enderium nuggets like a charm.

(I initially had them confused with the other End-type bees that like it cold, and couldn't find them on the wiki to confirm.)

Hello, I have a problem, I can't get damp comb because when I put a water queen in an apiary, it tell me the climate is too dry.
