[1.7.10, 1.8.9, 1.9] Glass Shards and Ice Shards

    It's actually called glass_shards.png.
    Well there's one png file for each of the colors, and one for the uncolored version.

    Yea noticed also linked to how to add transparancy which does allow the alpha channels to exsist aparently.
    note the guy is sort of a douche

    I dont understand it but im sure you do xD
    You basicly take the glass properties taht is saying its a transparant texture.

    The video only covers transparent blocks, which by themselves are no problem.
    Rendering items ingame is a different story. If I wanted transparency to be handled properly I would have to write my own renderer for the item, which is beyond the scope of this mod IMO. I would need to see how Mojang does it, but I can't copy their code.

    Well Ima test it with out the "fill" then see how that looks

    You can still use alpha channels, it will still show up when rendered in the inventory. Just not when dropped on the ground or held in the hand.

    Also replaced a black shard with a texture xD

    Sooo I just broke glass and suddenly a shard dropped and im like what o.o! I thought i had that in my other instance.
    I go check at my other instance... Nope seems like I installed it on the DW20 pack so I can confrim the compatability there xD

    Well if you were to crystalize the glass in some way maybe with some special type of bonemeal it could be xD

    Yes
    every color is a separate texture

    Also still missing some screenshots from the working transparancy :p

    You can remove that from the Feature's :cool:

    why the hell the custom names I just got them done now I can rename all of them dammit!
    Use the damn Minecraft names ;-; xD
    God well ima rename put them in my game to see how they look then Ill send em over :D
