should be, ill check tho, i have been playing direwolf 1.6 for about 3 months without a problem its just when it comes to playing private packs that i get this error

yes, its fully up to date, i uninstalled java and re-installed it and then did the same with the pack, i dont know whats wrong?

We are currently testing a new version of AMP. It will bring back dungeons and introduce new mobs. There are still a few issues to work out so I hope we'll have ready next Thursday so we can submit it to the FTB mod pack team.

Awesome. New mobs are really needed. currently world is a little empty. I could check it if it's uploaded somewhere.

The modpack works fine until I try to add more mods. I added about 10 new mods, sorted all ID conflict and then went to run it and it just crashes while trying to load, here is the full log

You did not sort your ID conflicts, check the log file you posted. That's likely what's causing your problem.

Out of curiosity, which mods did you add?

i added:
All the calclavia mods: resonant induction, MFFS ect
Mo' creatures
ars magica 2
orespwan
compact solars and compact windmills
witchery
Redstone arsenal
EE3[DOUBLEPOST=1398260293][/DOUBLEPOST]I'll re-add them all now and sort out the ID conflicts again and see if that fixes the crashes.

Ok I re-added all of those mods and it didnt say I had any ID conflicts when i looked at the .txt file this is crash report, any idea what im doing wrong?

Yes. If you are making or modifying a mod pack you should read the error messages you get so you can solve the problems you are causing :)

From your last paste:
Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: universalelectricity.core.asm.ASMHelper

i suggest you look at your Universal Electricity installation. That's what's causing the problems.

In the early days of HappyDiggers AMP we experimented with the Universal Electricity mods. We decided not to ask for permission to include them because they were too unstable. Just keep that in mind when you try to get it working.

of course! I forgot to add that one and it is need for some of the calclavia mods! Thankyou[DOUBLEPOST=1398265554][/DOUBLEPOST]how do I know what I'm looking for when looking through the log to find causes of crashes though?

When the log file contains a huge error message followed by something like "Caused by:" that's usually a good place to start :)

oh right, haha thanks, ive just been changing another 400 ID conflicts so I'll check now to see if it now works. :)

I have got it to work with most of the mods, I just couldnt use gregtech for some reason it was causing the crash when i added the other mods.

That is most likely due to items being overwritten. Most mods don't care about that, but GregTech forces a crash when you have conflicting item IDs. Which, in this case, is actually a good thing. Since you don't pay too much attention to your log file, maybe you should start over with a clean AMP installation and try again. This time pay attention to what the log file contains. Look for items being overwritten. A number of items are supposed to be overwritten during start up. You can find out which those are by running a clean AMP installation and noting the ones that are being overwritten.

I didn't manage to get mo'creatures to work sorry.
I have decided to just use the normal AMP because after all that I cant run the extra sized mod pack beacuse it is using about 6-7G ram and my computer can't take that and do other things until I upgrade it

Undo your changes 1 by 1 and see when it stops crashing. Then you'll have found the likely culprit. Then go ask the mod dev for support.
