So, Assuming its not possible to get whitelisted on the AMP server, was watching your YouTube series and wanted to check it out :/
Sorry, no that's not possible. Not right away anyway. The V.I.P. members of the HappyDiggers community vote once a month on new members for the V.I.P. group. The only way to get in is to get voted upon by the other V.I.P. members. And the only way that is going to happen is if you are a good member of our community which means playing on our serves and getting noticed in a positive way.

Also, i deleted chickenchunks because it crashed, so make sure to delete that too. we are recording tommorow.
Are you sure it was chickenchunks that crashed? The server we play on has been stable in that regard for months, even during developement of the 1.6.4 version of AMP and even during all the updates we've had so far. See Changelog in the opening post for details. If you have any crash reports or other log files showing the crash, please post them so we can try to address the issue.

The HTTP failed connect error seems to indicate a problem with your firewall settings on the Hamachi server. Instead of using Hamachi, you could consider forwarding a single port from your router to your computer. I'm assuming you don't know how to do this (which is probably why you're using Hamachi in the first place). So check http://portforward.com/softwareguides/minecraft/portforward-minecraft.htm for tutorials. Chances are they cover the brand of router you have.

I'm running your AWSOME modpack with hamachi. My port forwarding not working.
When me and friend enter the Server we fall into the void, and the server freezes. 2 mod is added, Morph, and Backpack. They freeze well without!
Sorry for the bad translation, I'm Hungarian, and Google Translate, to translate!
Here is the error message
http://pastebin.com/yD2Dtm8f

Or, link how to run Bukkit server with hamachi? I found youtube video, but not understand...

It seems you found a bug in MCPC+. See this link for more details: https://github.com/MinecraftPortCentral/MCPC-Plus/issues/903

A new version of MCPC+ has been released to address the issue. I have included this version in AMP v2.2.0 which has been submitted to the FTB mod pack team already. It should become available in a day or two.

In the mean time you can manually download this version of MCPC+ here: http://ci.md-5.net/job/MCPC-Plus-164/251/
Put it in your server directory and rename the file to HappyDiggers_AMP.jar (remove old one first).

the problem is solved. No bukkit based server run. I added the craftbukkit and go. Another error now that if you want to add something to this cheat mode prints all MOD items:
There's no item called XXX ID

Glad to hear the problem is solved :)

Please try to explain the other problem you have again. What are you doing exactly when the problem occurs? Can you send me your ForgeModLoader-client-0.log or perhaps some screenshots?

Um. really my friend run the server, me just communicate, and problem-solving man XD
Perhaps send you a log file, after talk to her.
Add 3 mod's, Factorization, Morph, and Backpack. The Factorization is ID conflict's 3-4 items. ID's rewrite, and after, this problem. The server reinstall, and same problem.

EDIT:
If run HappyDiggers_AMP.jar, morph mod and cheatmode giving any item is work! But, the secound player connect the server, crash, and same problem above crash log! (ServerConfigurationManager.java:1130)
Tonight try the MCPC+ update, and run the server. Hope it will we work...

Here are three files when you realize something out of it
- ForgeModLoader-server-0.log:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3XVgcLpeSboSEZPY0pxenZnV00/edit?usp=sharing
- server.log.1

What parts of Factorization do you actually use? Because as far as I know the only interesting thing it adds that isn't in AMP yet is the Router. All the other things have a couple of different alternatives in AMP already and the machines are pretty mediocre. AMP has many mods, just adding in factorization is bound to cause a couple of blockID and itemID conflicts, not to mention it'll mess up your world gen if you just stick in in there. If you choose to add it yourself, you will have to solve those issues. The only mod we support that isn't included in AMP is Twilight Forest. We have included a working config file for the current version of Twilight Forest.

Morph was considered a while ago. We choose not to include it because it causes a ton of client-side lag if you run active mob spawners for farming purposes. Also it confused players since they would change into mobs just by killing them without knowing how to change back.

We have three different kinds of backpacks in AMP already:
15r1ppd.png

They are added by Forestry, Railcraft and Project Red. Also the Ender Pouch is really useful to take with you on mining trips. So I'm not going to add a mod that only adds more backpacks. You can add it yourself if you want to of course :)

Thx reply. Yes, backpack mod. I love it, and i love the craft-backpack. Factorization? Pocket craft table. Love it.
Morph? I love the bat, and fly. This is cheat, but i do not care...
Crash on the server without the plus mods...
Tonight update the MCPC+, and run try again...
'll be in touch!

There's a handheld crafting tool in AMP already. It's from RotaryCraft and it does the same thing as a crafting table, except that you can just take it with you everywhere you go and just use it :)

You can see it in the screenshot above, it's left from Ender Pouch in my inventory.

Which mods require java 7+? I think you might need to update chickencodecore, that mod crashs on java 6 in some older versions.
He is using Java 7 on a 64-bit system, just look at the second line in the log file he posted. Also AMP is currently using CodeChickenCore 0.9.0.9 which is currently the latest version for Minecraft 1.6.4. So there is nothing to update to :)

The real problem is this part of the server log he posted:
Code:
2014-03-28 09:30:27 [INFO] Starting Minecraft server on 25.179.192.83:25565
2014-03-28 09:30:27 [WARNING] **** FAILED TO BIND TO PORT!
2014-03-28 09:30:27 [WARNING] The exception was: java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM_Bind
2014-03-28 09:30:27 [WARNING] Perhaps a server is already running on that port?

My guess would be he's using a shared host where another Minecraft server is already using the default Minecraft port.

@ĐevE@gŁ3, please ask your server host which port you can use to run your Minecraft server. You need to change the port "25565" into something else that is free on your server.

Also keep in mind this warning in your log file:
Code:
[WARNING] To start the server with more ram, launch it as "java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar minecraft_server.jar"
To run an AMP server I recommend a minimum of at least 2GB of RAM. 4GB would be better depending on amount of players and what you do on the server.

It requires Java 7, 64-bit. It has been tested with Java 8 by Sverf, but that is not required. I play using Java 7 update 51 myself so make sure you have that. You can download it here: http://java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

If you do not have a 64-bit OS and Java version, you can't play AMP unfortunately.

Also if AMP crashes on start-up before generating a ForgeModLoader-client-0.log file, try to see what the console of the FTB client sais. It should have some output regardless if AMP launches successfully or not. It might tell us what's going on :)

AMP has been updated to v2.2.0 and has the following change log:
v2.2.0
-Added CustomRecipes
-Added workaround recipe for Nano suit helmet and Iridium Drill. Currently it's too expensive, will change in next version to be closer to the original recipe.
-Removed Better Dungeons
-Removed Doggy Talents
-Removed Pet Bat
-Disabled Mekanism fancy render of universal cable.
-Downgraded Damage Indicators to 2.9.1.7
-Updated config file for Twilight Forest 1.20.5. This mod is not part of AMP, but you can install it manually if you like.
-Server only: updated MCPC+ to R2.1-forge965-B251
-Server only: updated MobiusCore to 1.1.0 and Opis to 1.2.0
-Updated DragonAPI to v19b
-Updated EnderForest to v19b
-Updated EnderIO to 1.0.0.343
-Updated Hardcore Ender Expansion to 1.4.3
-Updated LogisticsPipes to 0.7.4.dev.119
-Updated MineFactoryReloaded to 2.7.7B1-471
-Updated OpenBlocks to 1.2.7-snapshot-341
-Updated OpenModsLib to 0.4-snapshot-174
-Updated OpenPeripheralAddons to 0.1.3-snapshot-80
-Updated OpenPeripheralCore to 0.3.3-snapshot-103
-Updated Project Red to 4.3.4.30
-Updated ReactorCraft to v19b
-Updated RotaryCraft to v19b

This update fixes the server crash ĐevE@gŁ3 reported a few days ago and which seems to have caused problems for a lot of mod packs out there. I've removed Better Dungeons because it was still causing crashes on servers and there's no sign that the mod author is able to solve the issue. Doggy Talents and Pet Bat were removed because they are too RPG-y and because I got really fed up by the update notice of Doggy Talents for the Minecraft 1.7 version of the mod. I really don't like seeing updates every time I launch the game and I can't actually install those updates. The downgraded Damage Indicators mod solves a ton of spam on start-up and gets rid of the Merry Christmas message. Unfortunately it has the same issue as the latest version for 1.6.4 and that is that sometimes it doesn't display a player's health while playing on a server.

The workaround recipes added have to do with the Energy Crystals not always working while using them in combination with Applied Energistics. You run into this problem if you try to make a nano suit helmet or an iridium drill. Right now the alternative recipe uses 4 blocks of ruby instead of an energy crystal. It's mainly to test it's stability. The old recipe with the Energy Crystal is still present of course. In the next version we'll make the alternative recipe closer to the original resource wise.

InsaneJ:
My server is Hamachi!! My port: 25565. But, Hamachi because of running on the server, no matter what port I use. My server running 4 gb of ram, edited after the crash. MCPC+ updated, ram up 4gb, and server run! Not crash when 2 players!
But, me dead, fall out of the World... TP when my friend, you do not I fall more and more I play. Unfortunately, not much was run on the server, so not sure that this bug still comes up.
This is not it what we can. Maybe we can cut from this mod was better dungeons, if you are from.

SORRY MY BAD ENGLISH!!!

Hamachi is only a tool to work around port forwarding. It has nothing to do with the Minecraft server itself.

Please read the change log of the last update. AMP v2.2.0 has the version of MCPC+ that doesn't crash anymore and I have already removed Better Dungeons :)

As for you falling out of the world, that is a lag issue. The cause is most likely that the server host doesn't have enough bandwidth available. When you log into an AMP server at first you'll receive data up to 500KB/s for a couple of seconds. If the server doesn't have that much (upload) bandwidth available you will lag, a lot.

Thx man! So I get it. But this is just more matter who is running the Server? So unfortunately remain so, as we can not change that.

Yes, the person hosting the server needs to have a fast (upload) Internet connection. Here's a screenshot of a NetWorx graph:
2nsz0hx.png

It shows me starting MultiMC, loading AMP, and logging into the HappyDiggers AMP server. The initial login takes up to 500KB/s for maybe 10 seconds. After that the client receives data at a rate of around 40KB/s and sends data at a rate of 2KB/s. For the server you need to reverse those numbers, so the server needs to send at least 40KB/s per client after the initial login.

Clearly you have :)

Go read the first 3 lines of the opening post, or check the image below. I've made a subtle marking to exactly where you need to read:

And on the Feed The Beast client you need to click the following button:

Hope you can find it now ;)
